Karina's P.O.V.

"The list of qualified applicants will be posted soon, so keep updated."

As soon as they dismissed us, I went out the door and was immediately greeted by my boyfriend.

"Hey babe." he greeted me with a big smile.

"Aw, you waited for me?" I asked, returning the smile.

"Of course I did. I'll fetch you all the time from now on." he then offered his arm for me to take.

As I held his arm, I felt a pair of eyes gaze onto me from the corner of my eye. I didn't even need to look at who it was, a grin already spread on my lips when I figured that she was angry at me. Again.

"Shall we go? I'll walk you to your dorm too." Jeno asked.

I turned my head subtly and spared a short glance at Y/n. Her arms were crossed and I can tell just from the look on her face that she was annoyed.

It feels quite satisfying to see her like this, though.

"Let's go."

The dorm where me and my friends stay at wasn't very far, so it only took us a short while to walk.

"You know, I'm so glad that you chose me instead of those other... mid students." he suddenly spoke while we were walking.

"Mid?" I laughed, "Hey, just because I chose you doesn't mean they're all below you."

"But, isn't that the reason why you chose me as your boyfriend?" he smiled sheepishly.

I chuckled lightly before removing my hand on his arm.

"This is our dorm already. You can go." I stopped by the gate and faced him.

He looked over at our door and back at me, seemingly hesitant.

"It was nice walking with you, by the way." he stated as he rubbed his nape.

"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow." I bid him goodbye.

Just as I turned around to open our gate, he grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him.

"Karina."

I flinched when he was already close to me, but more so when I noticed where he was looking at directly.

"I-"

"Karina! You're home!" We both looked at the voice which came from the door.

I sighed of relief when I saw my friends at the doorway while Giselle was walking over to me.

"Thank you for walking our friend home. Now if you'll excuse us." she quickly spoke before grabbing my arm and dragging me inside.

"What was that? Was he about to make a move on you?" Ningning questioned as soon as the door was shut.

"And right in front of us?" Minjeong mumbled.

"You guys, calm down. It's not like it happened." I laughed it off, going over to the kitchen to drink some water.

"It was about to happen, if I hadn't come out and dragged you inside." Giselle protested.

They all followed and stared at me like they were asking-no, demanding an explanation.

"I mean, it's normal since we're a couple now. Right?" I muttered.

"It hasn't even been a day yet." Ningning stated.

"He stepped over the line." Minjeong added.

"Okay, okay. I was surprised either. But what was I supposed to do?" I huffed.
