Chapter 6

Namjoon needs a couple more days to fully heal, as he was more injured than Kai.

Namjoon mentioned to Jin that he's headed to their hometown to visit his younger brother.

Jin, Jimin, and the others were aware that Yoongi and Namjoon have another brother besides Kai, named Tae.

They shared that Tae is currently living in their hometown, and they plan to bring him with them once he turns eighteen, but they didn't provide any further details about him.

Nobody pressed for more info, as they wanted to keep things low-key about their younger brother.

Jin didn't find it strange when Namjoon mentioned going back home, as he and Yoongi regularly visit their little brother each month.

With Kai now fully recovered, he's decided to go and see Tae.

Yoongi gave Jimin the heads-up that Kai would be tagging along.

Jin and Jimin have been dating Namjoon and Yoongi for years, but they've only seen Kai a few times because he's so busy with work or traveling abroad.

So Jin and Jimin were super excited when Kai was coming over to their place for the first time.

After dinner, Jin, Jimin, and Hobi decided to watch TV while waiting for Kai and Yoongi.

Jungkook went to his room because his puppy was falling asleep.

They didn't tell Jungkook about Kai's visit yet, remembering what happened last time when Yoongi came home.

When Kai and Yoongi arrived, everyone welcomed them and introduced themselves.

It was the first time Kai and Hobi met, and Kai seemed interested in Hobi right away.

Before Kai could even deliver his famous flirty line to Hobi, he collided with fluffy white fur.

Realizing it was his little brother, he held him tightly and showered him with kisses.

Everyone felt like déjà vu.

As expected, everyone heard a loud growl, and Kai thought,
'Another wolf?'

He saw Yoongi shaking his head as if to say no, as if his brother had just read his mind.

Instead of a wolf, he saw a boy coming downstairs, more likely running towards him with a phone and a stand in his hand.

The TikTok star must have been doing his daily dose of TikTok videos with his baby, who had a bunny headband on its head, confirming their assumption.

The next second, Kook shoved his phone and phone stand to Jimin and immediately snatched the white fluffy from Kai, putting it straight into his own arms.

"Who are you? Why are you here?"
Kook asked angrily.

"I'm Kai, Yoongi's brother. I came here to see V."

"Huh, do you also know my baby?"

"Kook, he is V's true owner."
Yoongi added.

He could have just told him that because Kai is his brother, he knows about V, but no! He just decided to unintentionally add another layer of complexity to the situation.

Kai got confused but decided to go with the flow because Yoongi might have lied to avoid a situation he still doesn't know about. 

"Yes,I'm."
Kai nodded to himself.

"Now give me my little wo---"

"Puppy,he means puppy."
Hobi glared at Kai and interrupted his words.

"Puppy??
But he is our little wo---"

Jin signaled Kai to play along.

But everyone got startled by the one and only Kook.

Just when things seemed calm, Kook suddenly tackled Kai to the floor, looking furious.

Holding his puppy in one hand, he grabbed Kai's collar fiercely and questioned,

"So you are that bastard???"

"Me?"
Surprised Kai pointed at himself and asked if Kook meant him, leading to a tense moment among everyone.

"Yes, you! I was looking forward to seeing you one day."

"Huh??"

"Kook, what are you saying?"
Hobi asked.

"Hyung, he's the one. He's the one!", he started yelling.

"Who is the one, Kook? What are you even saying?", with confusion laced in his voice, Jimin asked.

"He's that sick bastard who kicked out my baby just because he's gay...!"

"WHY DID YOU COME HERE AFTER KICKING MY BABY OUT OF YOUR HOUSE?
MY POOR BABY HAD BEEN ALONE FOR DAYS...
AND NOW YOU ARE HERE TO SNATCH MY BABY.
I WILL NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN WHILE I AM STILL ALIVE...!"

"AND DON'T EVEN DARE TO TOUCH MY BABY."

Kai was still looking up at the furious boy, with a lot of questions in his mind.

He doesn't even know which baby the other is referring to, but he felt offended when he thought that the boy had mistaken him for a homophobe.

So Kai immediately said,
"I'm also gay!"

But the angry boy had already left with his baby.

With that, the other four sighed in relief, looking at the fading figure of the wild bunny.

Kai was looking at everyone dumbfoundedly.

Jin helped the boy stand as Kai was still on the floor.

He at least finally realized who the furious boy was. Moving his gaze to Jin, he asked...

"He's your----"

Immediately, Jin interrupted him.

"I swear he's not my brother, and for your information, we don't even know that boy, right, Jimin and Hobi?"

Both furiously nodded their heads, giving full support to the elder.

Kai's pov

'Baby?'
'Puppy?'
'Bastard?'
'Gay?'
'Kicking out?'

"I guess I'm still sick!"
With that, he passed out on the floor.

"And here I thought Jimin was the only one obsessed with the floor!"
