Chapter 13

Midnight

Namjoon, Yoongi, and Kai were still in Jin's apartment. They had decided to stay over the night.

"YOONGI... KAI..."
Namjoon shouted their names from the living room.

Everyone came running, hearing the loud shouts. They saw a grinning Namjoon.

Yoongi, who is still panting because of running, asked, "What? What happened?"

'Tae mindlinked me," Namjoon shared with them.

Yoongi cursed at himself for not thinking of using mindlink with V sooner and even called his two brothers dumb for not considering it.

Jimin then inquired if Tae had revealed their location.

Namjoon replied, "Tae doesn't know exactly where they are, but he mentioned they are nearby."

Yoongi and Kai sighed in relief.

"Hold up, did you say Tae? So, V has shifted back?"
Kai asked

Namjoon confirmed with a vigorous nod. This news brought joy to Yoongi and Kai, who were relieved that their brother was back in human form.

The trio had been worried about the risky plan to venture into the forest to help V shift back.

Meanwhile, Hobi, Jin, and Jimin were eagerly looking forward to meeting Tae.

"Wait, does that mean Jungkook has found out everything?"
Yoongi suddenly asked.

"Oh God, Kook must have already fainted by now," Jin said, as he knows his brother so well.

"Yup, Jungkook found out, and Tae explained everything to him. But the way Tae described how Jungkook reacted made me feel like he took the news pretty calmly."

No one wants to believe what Namjoon said. Because all of them, even Namjoon, know the boy by heart. If it were really their Jungkook, by seeing and hearing everything, he would have turned the world upside down by now.

Kai decided to ask about something that was making him restless.

"Guys, after knowing all the mate things, will Jungkook take any sudden steps after being overwhelmed or something?"

After hearing Kai, Namjoon and Yoongi became nervous.

But Jin jumped in to show his support for his beloved brother.

"Nope, even though he does many silly things and maybe is a little insane, that brother of mine is not dumb enough to take any hasty steps. He'll definitely take it slow in their relationship. Just trust me on this."

Jimin even supported Jin in this.

Hobi, like other werewolves, still has doubts about Kook.

However, after hearing Jin's determined and confident voice, they felt at ease and decided to go and sleep.

Meanwhile, in the hotel.

Jungkook was lying down beside his baby, hugging a pillow, admiring him.

After admiring his baby for more than half an hour, he slipped carefully under the comforter so as not to disturb her sleep.

He casually placed his right leg over Tae's legs and embraced him from behind.

Sniffing Tae's scent like a hungry wolf, he relaxed and drifted off to sleep.

Morning

Jungkook woke up from his sleep and realized the baby was no longer in his arms.

He saw the time was 7:37 a.m., decided to sleep more, and was about to pull the boy closer, that's when he remembered something.

Quickly, he grabbed his phone, did something, and then switched it off.

With a content smile, he then snuggled up with the baby and cuddled the hell out of the boy.

"JIN... JIN... GUYS!"

All rushed over like before, feeling a sense of déjà vu.

However, instead of a smiling Namjoon, they were met with a frustrated, angry Namjoon holding his phone in one hand and tightly gripping his hair with the other, cursing someone.

"What's up? Why are you shouting so early in the morning?" Jin inquired.

Namjoon remained silent, opting to simply display his phone to everyone.

Their eyes widened so much that it seemed they might pop out at any moment.

And when they turned to where Jin had been standing, he was nowhere to be seen.
