Chapter 12

After an hour, Jungkook somehow came back to his precious life.

Now all he is doing is staring—just staring like the creep he is...

Sometimes his eyes widen like saucers, and in a fraction of a second, he stares at the poor boy again.

Sometimes his eyes show all kinds of emotions—excitement, fear, happiness???

It seems like the bunny boy is having an internal meltdown.

On the other hand, the boy is standing right in front of the bunny, feeling happy that after weeks he shifted to human form and excited to explore the human world, but also scared of a specific someone's reaction.

The little wolf is looking at Jungkook, trying to read his face, but no matter, he couldn't come up with any conclusion, which itself is making the boy more tense.

After an eternity, Jungkook's mouth decided to talk, and he couldn't stop his mouth because his mouth is so stubborn and will never obey its owner.

So Jungkook took a dramatic, deep sigh.

He can't stand such disobedience, even if it's his own mouth, but what can he even do???

Seeing the most beautiful boy he had ever seen right in front of him, his inner wild bunny wanted to jump on the poor boy.

But Jungkook was trying to control his inner bunny, so the bunny was stressed. Jungkook huffed.

Jungkook decided to be bold; he couldn't risk messing up his reputation in front of the gorgeous boy he just met.

Little did he know, his reputation was already crushed when they first met in the park.

So, he deepened his voice to sound more mature and asked the boy,
"Who are you?"
"Where is my puppy?"
"Why did my puppy vanish, and you  
pop up in its place?"

And the puppy stood confused,
'Why does his mate sound different? Is he feeling sick?

But, keeping his thoughts to himself, he said...

The boy pointed to himself and said, "Hmmm, I... I'm V."

The boy thought Jungkook must have already realized the situation, but who are we talking about?

Jungkook burst into laughter.
But upon seeing the boy's serious face, his laugh died down even before he could extend it for a minute.

The boy decided to explain.

"I know it's hard to believe me, but just hear me out."

With that, Tae sat beside Jungkook.

Feeling the closeness, his inner bunny urged Jungkook to nod his head.

Starting from his name, he told everything—literally everything, including the marking thing, except Jungkook mistaking him for a puppy.

The boy thought that since the mistake thing was obvious, he didn't need to talk it out.

All Jungkook could do was continuously blink his doe eyes.

After that, the boy tensed because Jungkook wasn't showing any reactions.

Jungkook, without reacting, just mumbled that 'he is going to take a bath' and went to the bathroom and closed the door.

After opening the tap and shower, he took a deep breath.

Then he screamed,

"AHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh!"

That's when he remembered he still needed his voice in the future.

His fans are still waiting for his videos and songs, so he can't hurt his precious throat.

So he decided to scream silently....

After his meltdown, he came back to the room with a calm face, like he just hadn't panicked.

On the other hand, because V shifted after so long, his human body was really tired. So in the process of waiting for Jungkook, he fell asleep.

Jungkook saw his puppy/wolf sleeping peacefully.

He took a chair and sat right in front of the younger, fondly smiling at him.
Well, according to him.

But in reality, he was creepily staring at the boy, as if the wild bunny wanted to devour the little wolf, and with all other wild thoughts flashing in his mind.

For now, we don't have access to his mind, so we need to wait to know about his fantasies.

His hands unconsciously reached the boy's fluffy blue hair, and he slowly started to caress it.

He saw the other pouting his lips in his sleep.

And the wild bunny inside him started to get excited.

But the bunny's excitement fell when the human sulked, thinking...

'If he is a wolf, then why did he lie to him that he is a puppy in the park?
He could have told him a long time ago. Then why?
Why did he lie to him in the first place?
Does his baby not trust him enough to share that?'

Now, who's gonna tell him? His bunny brain itself made up those things.
