The True Blood Alpha's low growls revealed his growing unease. Sensing its restlessness, the werewolves quickly responded. They gently lifted the True Blood Alpha and placed him beside V, seeking to calm him.

As they lay together, the two wolves instinctively snuggled up, their bodies entwined, with V's smaller form almost hidden beside the True Blood Alpha's massive body. As the True Blood Alpha breathed in V's comforting scent and warmth, he relaxed and fell back into a deep sleep.

The group gathered downstairs, and the humans' minds were still filled with unanswered questions.

One aspect that particularly perplexed them was Kai's fearful response to the True Blood Alpha, especially since Kai was a werewolf himself. To address their confusion, the group decided to start with the basics, explaining what distinguished the True Blood Alpha from other werewolves.

Namjoon began,"True Bloods Alphas are similar to male Omegas."

Jimin's eyes lit up with curiosity. "So, they're calm and gentle, like male Omegas?" he asked.

However, Kai's nervous smile hinted at a different reality.

"Actually, it's quite the opposite. When I said they're similar, I meant that both are considered mythical. But True Bloods... they're known to be ruthless, bloodthirsty monsters." Namjoon's voice trailed off, and he swallowed hard, the gravity of his words hanging in the air.

Jin's face was etched with horror, his eyes wide with shock. A chilling realization dawned on him: 'I was snuggled up with a beast all that time?' The very thought sent shivers down his spine. Despite the initial horror, Jin's thoughts softened as he reminded himself that the "beast" was, in reality, his adorable little brother-a dumb but talented TikTok star, artist, and a big foodie-and their bunny. This comforting realization wrapped Jin in a sense of reassurance, calming his earlier fears.

The silence was broken when Yoongi finally asked the question that had been puzzling everyone: "How did Jungkook become a wolf in the first place?"

The room fell silent once more, with all eyes fixed on Hobi as he innocently asked, "Does it work like vampires? You know, if a werewolf bites a human, does the human become a werewolf too?" The others stared, giving him a bombastic side eye.

Kai approached the sensitive topic with caution, not wanting to cause Jin any distress. "Jin hyung, I hope you don't mind me asking, but... is Jungkook your biological brother or... adopted?"

Jin's expression softened, and a warm smile spread across his face. "Of course, he's my younger brother," he replied. "I was at the hospital when he was born, and he inherited all his good looks from our mother."

They were back to square one, the same question still lingering in the air: 'But how did Jungkook become a werewolf?' The mystery remained unsolved, and the group's curiosity was still piqued.

Yoongi's words dropped like a bombshell:"That leaves only one possibility: either your father or your mother is a werewolf."

Jin's eyes widened in shock, his mind reeling with the implications. "What? How can that be possible?" he asked, his voice laced with confusion. "I'm a human, aren't I?" The question hung in the air.

Namjoon's explanation shed some light on the mystery. "When a werewolf and a human have a child, the offspring can inherit traits from either parent," he clarified. "They're either fully human or fully werewolf."

Jimin's eyes sparkled with understanding as he added, "So, it's possible that Jin hyung inherited the human genes, while Kook inherited the werewolf genes."

The group's collective gaze turned to Jin, their faces filled with a mix of curiosity and concern, as if waiting for Jin to process this newfound information.

"But if Kook was a werewolf from the start, why didn't anyone know-not even Kook himself?" Hobi's thoughts lingered on another puzzling detail: "And what about the mate mark on V? It showed up as green, indicating that his mate is a human."

His inquiry sparked a renewed sense of curiosity, and the group's eyes met, searching for answers to these lingering questions.

Yoongi's expression turned contemplative as he offered a theory.
"It's as if Jungkook's werewolf side was dormant, hidden beneath the surface. Perhaps something in this cabin triggered it, causing his werewolf side to emerge."

The group nodded collectively, accepting this explanation as the most logical conclusion they could draw.

"But how do we know which of your parents is a werewolf?"
Jimin's question sparked a thoughtful discussion among the group.

Jin's expression turned thoughtful as he shared his insight. "I think it must be our mom. Considering that same-sex relationships are accepted in the werewolf world, if our father was a werewolf, he would have never abandoned us for being gay."

Kai's face lit up with excitement as he suggested, "Then can we go and ask her? She must have answers to our questions." However, his excitement was short-lived, as Yoongi slapped the back of his head, his expression somber. "She passed away when they were young," he said gently.

Kai's face fell, but he quickly recovered, his brow furrowing in confusion. "But I've seen Mr. Jeon with his wife at parties," he said. Hobi replied with a matter-of-fact tone, "Well, he remarried."

The conversation took a melancholic turn as Jimin asked, "Hyung, do you have any relatives on your mother's side?" Jin's response was laced with sadness. "No, she was an orphan." They had hit yet another dead end, and the mystery veiled in uncertainty.

Jin's eyes lit up as a sudden realization struck him.
"Our grandmother from Father's side was really close to Mom-she might know something!" His exclamation sent a jolt of excitement through the group.

Jimin's face brightened with enthusiasm as he replied, "Where is she?"

"She's living a quiet life, away from the city, in Yangpyeong."

A sly grin spread across Jimin's face as he continued, "It's time for a trip to Yangpyeong-gun with our wolves. Hopefully, we'll find the answers we've been looking for."

The group's collective energy shifted, and a sense of purpose settled in. They quickly began making plans to embark on a journey to Yangpyeong-gun, eager to depart as soon as the wolves awakened.
