Chapter 8

Courtney-

I felt him before I heard him. And I was still dazed to figure out why I can feel and hear him at six in the morning. 

"Hey" He whispered,his warm breath tickling my ear "We gotta wake up before your parents find me here" 

"Huh?" I murmured, burying myself deeper into the covers. a few seconds later my eyes flew open. Oh my god. I bolted out of bed. "You got to go" I started tugging on his arm. Which made him laugh silently.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you" He said, getting up from bed. He was shirtless. And I don't know why I'm amazed by this now, I mean, I slept next to him, I felt him behind me all night. Memories of me snuggling and him tucking me closer fled into my mind. I shook my head. Now is not the time to think about how amazing that was and how I slept like a...Baby. At that thought my hand landed on my lower stomach. I lifted my gaze and saw Ryan staring at my hand. He started walking towards me and his hand landed on top of mine. 

"It's going to be OK" he whispered, lowering himself closer to me, his nose almost brushing mine. 

"I hope so" I whispered "but now you have to go" I started pushing him towards the window. 

He climbed over and before he started his decent he looked at me "see you at school" 

"Bye" 

I got dressed as quickly as I can, wanting to get away from my parents. As I got downstairs I smelled bacon and ladies and gentlemen, the morning sickness has arrived. 

"Courtney?" my mom asked from the kitchen. I cringed. I really didn't want to face her. Not after I told her everything.

"Y-yeah?

"I made breakfast. Come eat. "

I slowly walked towards the kitchen and saw her standing next to the counter looking at her plate of food like it had all the answers in the world.

" I'm not really hungry" less than a minute inside the kitchen and I felt like I was going to up chuck.

She looked at me then. "morning sickness?"

I was taken aback. I didn't expect her to broach the subject. I imagined she would just ignore it until they were ready to talk to me about it.. 

"kinda.. " great Courtney. Awesome answer.

" here" she said,  grabbing a lemon and slicing it. "it won't work completely but it'll help sooth your stomach a little so you could go to school"  she took the lemon  putting it into a glass and pouring water.

"thank you" I said gratefully. I took little sips,  hoping my morning sickness would disappear.

"As soon as you come home today we will discuss it all. We have some things we want you to consider and some things we need to ask"

I almost chocked on my water. "OK. I'll be home as soon as I can"  I left the glass on the counter,  grabbed my book bag and walked towards the entrance.

"Oh and Courtney",  mom called from the kitchen "bring Ryan,  please" 

Oh god. I was seriously going to up-chuck.

" So what happened? Did you tell them? I tried texting you all day yesterday"

"well then you know what happened" I looked at Callie as we walked to our classes.
