Over the course of the next few weeks a new male came by, named Oliver. He said he had lost his loop and just wants to get back, and needs a refugee place. Yeah, no, I'm not believing that. He looks exactly like somebody I know. Caul.
"Those contacts are absolutely sucky." I tell 'oliver' as I walk around his bedroom for the time being. "Shut up, they are the only ones I could find." Caul says with an eye roll. "Well, what do you want from me, us whatever? If you don't cause no harm, I won't harm you." I say with a smirk. "Nothing really, just wanted to see you." Caul says with a shrug. "Whatever, better not do anything." I say as I walk out quickly.
Days flew by as caul would just overlook everybody, until one day, where I deemed him and Alma as a Backstabber. I Walk into the living room area, only to see Alma on Caul's lap. "Caul!" I scream as tears quickly build up on my face, and Alma looks at me. "Hm?" Caul asks with a smirk. "Caul?" Alma says quickly. "I'm leaving. Caul once I leave, don't you dare harm the kids. Do with Alma what you please." I say as I quickly rush out, Alma quick on my heels. "No wait, caul?" Alma ushers behind me. "Shut up. Leave me alone." I say as I rush up to no longer our bedroom and grab a few jackets before quickly opening the window and flying out.
I fumble in my pocket as I walk towards the loop exit, tears racking my body as I try to find my phone. Found it. I grab it out and quickly call Caul's number, I know weird right? "Caul, put the kids in the saloon, don't touch them. Once again, do with Alma what you please. She will probably be hiding in a corner with a bow." I say quickly through tears. "Letting me do with your lovebird whatever I please? Aww how sweet." Caul says, and it all clicks. It all clicks. I drop my phone and quickly without even thinking I change into a peregrine falcon. Goddamn if Alma isn't in the saloon..this isn't gonna work. I fly throughout the air and rush in through an open window. I swoop downstairs and land in-front of caul. "Already changed into bird form for me birdy? How lucky can I be in one day!" Caul says with laughter. I caw at him.
"Now, get in the cage or I harm all your little children." Caul says, but I quickly look over the ground. Why in the world is there a crossbow on the ground...Alma. I quickly change into human form, moving as fast as my body will let me. I grab the crossbow in one swoop and hold it up to caul. "You've betrayed me too many times, I thought we had a friendship. But no, you bastard." I say, and shoot the arrow through his heart quickly. He falls to the ground. "I will..be back." Caul mutters out before all life drains from his already lifeless eyes. "Goddamit..I hate this place." I say with an eye roll before thudding upstairs.
Everyone better be in the saloon.
