Chapter 41- Venom of the Red Lotus

"The place where I saw them taking the airbenders is around here." Kai said as he flew beside us on his bison.

"That's got to be where they took Korra." Mako said.

Kai notices a cave with five Air Nomads carved on the wall. "That's it. Down there, Lefty."

The team all land in front of the cave and dismount, with Tonraq and Bolin supporting dad.

Dad groaned as he rested his hand on Oogi. "Find the airbenders and my family."

Suyin rested her hand on my dad's shoulder. "Don't worry. I'm not coming out without our children and the rest of your people."

The team enters the cave while dad looks on, I turn towards him and give him a big hug.

"F-Fara, my t-thoracic cage." But he embraces my hug anyways.

"We're gonna find them, okay."

"I have no doubt in my mind." He weakly smiled.

I give him a little smile before running into the cave to catch up with the rest of the team.

Kai lead the way as Lin and Su began bending passages through the cave.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" The voice sounded close.

I pointed to the tunnel where I believe the voice originated.

Suyin bended the wall, knocking someone out with her rock.

A sentry bends two rocks at us, we were protected by Suyin's bent wall. When the attack stops, Asami leaps over the wall and stuns the sentry.

"Mom!" Opal cries out.

Suyin hugs her daughter. "Oh, honey, I'm so glad you're safe."

Bolin throws Suyin aside. "Me too." He hugs Opal while Suyin glares at him.

"Fara!"

I rush over to my family.

"Oh, my baby," my mother cooed as I embraced her in a hug.

I began to feel overwhelmed. "Thank spirits, you're alright."

Mom seemed to be the only one who wasn't chained in shackles, she had Rohan resting in her arms. "Thank spirits, you're okay...are you okay?"

I patted away my tears with the back of my palm. "Yeah, I'm alright."

"Sissy!" Meelo screamed. "Help me out of these shackles!"

I laughed to myself before rushing to Meelo and using my bobby pin to unlock the shackles, after I unlocked his shackles, Meelo jumped onto my head.

I laughed holding him in place. "I missed you, too."

"Fara?" Ikki's eyes glossed with tears.

I began to pick on Ikki's lock. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too." Ikki cried. "Now hurry up and unlock these shackles so I can give you a hug!" She whined.
