Samantha POV

After nearly 3 hours of sleeping, I woke up and still had 10 more hours to go. I pulled my phone out and took a picture of Hyunjin sleeping, posting it my Instagram story with the caption 'I love my bestie💖'. I smiled and continued scrolling through my feed.

"Hello, ma'am would you like something to drink?" A flight attendant asked as she walked past me down the aisle.

"Yes please!" I said pulling the tray in front of me down. I looked over at Hyunjin once again and decided to get him one as well. "Can I get one for when he wakes up as well?"

"Certainly."

"May I please get a Sprite and a Coke?" She handed me both and also handed me two small bags of fruit snacks.

"These are usually only for the kiddos, but you two are such a cute couple I just have to throw in a little something extra for you."

"Oh actually-" Hyunjin grabbed my arm in his sleep and squeezed it like a plushie, laying his head on my shoulder. Well that doesn't really help my case, now does it? "Thank you." I replied simply. She nodded continuing her rounds. I chuckled to myself returning to Instagram.

"Aww such a cute couple." Felix and Seungmin peered through the crack in the seats in front of us. I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up." I said in an airy laugh.

"Attention passengers. The time is 8:45 am here in Los Angeles, California. We have to make a quick hour detour to refill and then we'll be back in the skies. Please fasten your seatbelts and put away all electronic devices. Thank you."

I turned my phone off and shook Hyunjin awake.

"Jinnie." I tapped him lightly. "You gotta get up honey." He stirred.

"Hmm?"

"We're at the detour. You gotta buckle up so we can land." He sleepily patted around in search for the seatbelt. I sighed reaching over and buckling it for him.

"Thank you." He mumbled, wiping the sleep out of his eyes.

We both peered out of the window as we descended onto LA. The sun sat low in the blue, cloudless sky.

"It's beautiful." He muttered under his breath. I smiled.

"Yeah, it is."

When landed, everyone began to gather their things and exit the plane. I grabbed my carry-on and met up with the other boys in airport.

"Alright!" Chan started off with a loud clap. The eye roll came nearly automatic. "So the plane takes off in an hour and thirty minutes, we'll begin boarding 15 minutes before that-"

"I'll be back in 45 minutes." I said aloud, spinning on my heels and making a beeline for the doors. I just stood there for a few minutes looking at the people waiting for their rides and those that were getting dropped off and bidding farewell. I wonder where everyone is going.

"Whatever he did couldn't have been that bad." An out of breath Hyunjin, caught up to me. He was already speaking when he approached me but I was too far deep into my thoughts to hear him.

"What did you say?"

"I said you have to forgive him eventually. I don't know what he did, like the severity of it, but you're friends, right. Friends argue and make up all the time." I took a second to think about what he said.

"You wanna get a drink?" I asked instead of addressing what he said. He agreed and we made our way to a cute little bubble tea cafe not too far from our terminal. After we ordered and received our drinks, we sat at a table near the corner. We took a second to savor the taste before I stroked up a conversation.
