(A/N): this is before Masters & Students and after Darkness Rising: Part 5.
Autobot Base No POV
The Autobots were resting or training along with Miko, Jack and Raf as Ratchet was scanning the Earth for any signs of Energon. He got something on his scanner.
Optimus: what have you found, Ratchet?
Ratchet: it's a spike of Energon. There seems to be a lot.
Optimus: then let's get a ground bridge there.
Ratchet; not necessary. It seems the Energon spike is here at the Jasper, Nevada.
Jack:<looks at the screen> that's the junkyard.
Miko: why would Energon be at the junkyard?
Arcee: it doesn't matter why, we need to get it before the Decepticons do.
Optimus: Arcee is right. Bumblebee, you and Arcee go secure the Energon then Bulkhead and I will go with carts to transport the energon.
Arcee: very well.
Jack: Raf and I should go with you, we know where the Junkyard is.
Bee:<makes some sounds>
Raf: we won't go near it, we promise.
Arcee and Bumblebee went into their vehicle modes as Jack and Raf got on them and they took off but they weren't the only ones sensing the energon spike.
Nemesis
Soundwave was on his station as he went to Starscream who was the the one in charge since Megatron wasn't here.
Starscream: what is it, Soundwave?
Soundwave displayed some coordinates on his visor.
Starscream: an energon spike? Send Knockout and a squadron of Vehicons to secure the area before we send miners to get it.
Soundwave nods as he sent a message to Knockout.
Knockout and a group of Vehicons walked to the Command Center where Soundwave opened a ground bridge near the coordinates and they went through.
Jasper Junkyard
Bumblebee and Arcee arrived as Jack and Raf got off before the two Autobots turned to their normal forms.
Arcee: so much junk lying around.
Jack: I don't see Energon anywhere.
Bee:<whirs and beeps>
Raf: yeah, maybe it's under the junk?
Arcee: it can't be. The Energon must be visible in some way for Ratchet to detect it.
Jack was about to talk but some heavy footsteps were heard as the four of them hid only to see a robot as tall as Bulkhead walk past them and it's claws was an energon crystal.
