The Horizon of Saudade

The floating clouds on the body of the blue convey monotony-

And, the suburban streets has never felt any wider:

The tress on each side of the widening lanes does parallely cooperate to some dead end.

She doesn't need to race to keep up pace with the pace of the speeding minivan;

Yet, she's racing: to chase the cluster of butterflies scintillating without any handcuffs.

she wished to the floating clouds-

'To be as vibrant as the wild sunflower:

'To be as serene as the chrysanthemums are....'

The cotton candy shaped clouds- do they taste sweet as well?

She's not into that old love anymore that triggered her guilt every night:

And the fact that love could ever be beautiful was a bitter thought:

But the beautiful instance of the bee falling in love with the pollen:

And the belief that after every moon, the sun will play its job over again-

That initiated a mutual trust among the two worlds separated by the horizon.
