Thursday
Nat

The game is so far super close. It's almost halftime and both teams are 3-3. Noah's team is one of the best in the league but the people that they are against today are the top team right now in the ladder for the league that they are on.

HONK! Half time. The teams all go to their box and talk to the team. Then three managers come to the group of us in a row.

"Could you guys please come with us?" They say. We all nod. We then stand up and start to follow the manager people. They then lead us to a gate, one of them opens it and there is a red carpet on the ice with gold railings as well. We all look at each other and I look up at the big screen seeing the label that shows us.

F1 Stars and Lovers here in Melbourne for the Grand Prix!

They all start dancing on the carpet. I smile as I cheer them on and I start to clap to the music that was playing and soon the crowd joins. My friends and some of the girlfriends are now on the ice dancing to the music and presenting themself to the music.

Yeah sure I was a Verstappen but I was always behind my brother's shadow. Sure some people knew me and some people don't. I only really present myself to people that like to be known to the police. Like myself. Not just normal people that love sports. I did feel abandoned most of the time when people only came to some events that I was attending to ask about Max or some people on the F1 squad. Yes, it bothered me but I always have to push it past me and just put a smile on my face.

Act brave on the outside, crumble on the inside.

"You can go ahead if you would like." One of the ladies says. I look at her and she extends her hand to gesture to me to get on the carpet on the ice. I smile slightly at her and I step on the ice ever so slightly. Max instantly turns to me and smiles. He and Kelly both come rushing to my side and bring me closer to the group and further out into the ice. My smile grows wider and wider by the second.

"You thought you could stand to the side and join us," Max whispers to my ear so I could only hear.

"You are the best brother in the whole world," I tell him. I then grab him by the shoulders and hug him tightly. He wraps his arms around my waist and hugs me back. It was true with all the laughs, tears, and fights I truly and utterly loved my brother. When we let go of each other everyone starts to cheer more and we then see some of the Australian team come out from the box and start to circle us as we still dance to the music.

I then feel someone tap my shoulder. I turn to the side a little bit and I see Noah standing there with a big smile on his face. I hug him tightly as well. But as I do he then drags me away from the carpet and onto the slippery ice.

"Dude, what are you doing?" I ask him with some laughter in between. His smile grows bigger as he now starts to spin.

"You enjoying the game?" He asks.

"If you win I will have enjoyed the game," I reply to him. "How about a bet?"

"I'm listening."

"If you don't win then you have to come to the F1 race dressed as a Spider-Man," I reply. I giggle as he opens his mouth wide. I knew he wouldn't like that if he didn't win but it would be funny just to watch.

"Alright challenged accepted but if we win, I am taking you out for dinner." He says. He then puts me back down on the carpet. I extend my arm out to him. He looks down and laughs a little bit. He then takes it and we shake hands on our deal. I smile before letting go and leaving the rink and taking my spot back on the row with the crew. I look back at him and he is smirking back at me. I wave him off and he goes back to the box with his team and coach.

The second half begins... NOW.

The final quarter was 5-3. The other team is now leading because of some silly mistakes with the defence not being down far enough when their forward has the puck so because of that the goalie is by themself.

Their forward coming further down towards the goal. They are powering through with three other guys on his side ready to back him up, while there is one defence man and the goalie down there as well. But the other team look strong and ready to break down a door if they had to.

He lines his stick with the puck. He stops. He brings his stick. He shoots, and into the goals it goes. The other side of the rink with more stands starts to roar and cheer with excitement. 6-3.

The puck goes back to the middle and there is a change in Australia's team. Noah comes to the middle to try and gain the puck as soon as it is dropped.

He claims the puck and shoots forward. One pass, and another and they are already down at their defence quarter. This could be their shot. Noah gets the puck and stops at the side of the other team's goal. He lines up his stick. I am now basically above my seat watching him try and shoot. He brings his stick up but out of nowhere one of the other team members slides and grabs the puck, in a matter of seconds the other team scores again. I look back towards Noah, I can just tell by sitting over here that he is red with rage. He stakes over to the goal and smashes his stick against it smashing it to pieces. My mouth opens with shock.

"2 minutes in the box." The ref says pointing to the box.

"What? Two minutes. Give me a break." Noah says quite loudly. The stadium goes quiet. I sigh looking at Noah as he gets in the box and throws his stuff all over the place. He removes his helmet and lets his sweaty dirty blonde hair drupe over his face.

7-3. The buzzer goes. End of the game. Of course, I was upset that Australia lost, but I was upset by Noah's reaction, he did not need to do that. As myself and the crew leaves the rink I hear someone call my name.

"Nat!" I turn around and I see Noah coming towards me.

"What do you want?"

"What?" He asks.

"Are you serious right now look at the displayed you made to your country?" I say to him.

"How would you feel if someone did that to you as you were trying to shoot a goal? So don't give me that shit." He says. His voice was rising. Yes, I have dealt with a lot towards Max and his anger after silly mistakes and losses, as well as some of the other drivers that I am close with.

I sigh looking down. I then look back at him. His nose was flaring with every breath.

"Figure out your shit or don't talk to me again," I say. I turn around to the entry and I see Max and Kelly waiting for me outside. I run up to them and I side-hug Max as he wraps his arm around my shoulder as we walk away from the rink. We then catch up with the rest of the group.

Now that is over I need to focus on Max tomorrow practice times, track walk and some training. Plus with my race in the night. Time to get the show on the road. Look out Melbourne here we come!

Hope you liked the chapter :)
