ITS LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO! I watch the monitors very closely watching as everyone takes off in their positions. Max is still leading the pack and is in P1. With their fast reaction from Charles, he is wheel and wheel with Lewis.

- going into turn one Charles pushes past Lewis and now is in p2. Just behind Verstappen.

+ These two I think will have a major battle today here in Australia. So we shall see if Verstappen can hang onto this lead or if will Charles take over.

-Here comes Lando Norris climbing into P4. Passing Carlos Sainz.

I watch as every little turn goes by and everyone climbs and maintains their positions throughout each lap.

Max leads with a 21-second window. He comes into the pitlanes. I go outside to watch him. When he comes in I quickly wave to him and he waves back as they change the tires. 2.4 seconds.

He speeds down with the appropriate speed down the pit lane and back out onto the race. Of course, he lost some time but he just manages to get in front of Charles with a 12-second window.

Max pushes through some more laps still in first but I see Charles slowly creeping up to him and trying to push through past him.

"Come on Max keep your head in the game," I say to myself.

-Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc fighting for this top spot.

+but incomes Lando Norris zooming past Lewis Hamilton for the DRS zone and coming into the last corner and then the straight past.

I chuck my headphones down and run to the pitlane fence that faces the track and I watch the red car and the blue one come in for the final turn and down the main strip. Both of them wheel to wheel.

THEY CROSS THE FINISH LINE TOGETHER!

I then turn to Christian.

"They are going to use video footage." He says to me. I nod to him. I am incredibly proud of both of them even though it was a tight race I knew that they both are going for that win but will be proud of the other person at the same time.

I then turn my head back to the track and I see a McLaren now coming in the main stretch.

All the cars do a cool-down lap and as that happens the officials get their stands ready for when they come in, but everyone is waiting for those results.

"Attention all spectators and teams. The winner of the Australian Grand Prix... Charles Leclerc!"

The crowd goes wild at the final finish I knew no one would complain cause that would have been a hard choice of choosing the winner by video footage. The officials have set everything up for their stands to park their cars and they all start to come in.

Charles comes in and stands up onto his halo of the car and punches the air in excitement. He then gets off his car and runs to his team and jumps on top of the in happiness. Charlotte and I start to cheer him on. He comes up to us and hugs us both. I let go and Charles and Charlotte kiss each other in front of everyone, and everyone goes crazy.

"Proud of you," I yell to Charles. I then hug him again. He then pulls me and Charlotte out of the crowd and I run up to Max and hug him tightly.

"You did so well brother. Could not have been happier." I say to him.

"Love you, Nat."

"Love you too, now go celebrate with Kelly and P," I say. He nods. I then spot them in the crowd and I drag them out as well and he goes up to them and hugs them tightly. I start to admire it from a distance. I then see someone break away from his team that was swimming in the colour of orange.
