Austin

"Fuck! Seriously, Kisha! Why do you always have to be the one ruining other people's lives?!"

I shouted at her. I was angry. Really angry that I could feel my own body tensed up so much just trying hard not to get mad.

"I just did it for us!" 

She answered back and I was too stunned to speak.

"Us? There is no Us! We broke up long ago, Kisha. Put that in your fucking head!" I told her as I point at her
"What? Is it... Is it your hobby to ruin other people's lives? Cause you sure are putting it through. Kinain na ba nang kasikatan yang system mo na nagagawa mo ito sa ibang tao? para sa ano? Sa attention? The world doesn't revolve around you, Kisha!" I was gritting my teeth as I looked at her full of loathing. Just how low can she go? To actually put someone in danger.

"Austi-"

"Someone is out there in this fucking storm. In that dark woods! do you even have a conscience?! You know what? I've had enough of your manipulation and shitty acts. You think... Do you think you look good by ruining people? by... by acting as if you're the victim? Seriously, have you looked at yourself in the mirror? if you keep this up. It's not long until you'll turn into a monster."

"Will you love me then? If I turn into a monster? will you feel something for me? will you care?!"

I looked at her speechless by what she just stated. I siighed, hopeless. She seems so desperate, she seems so crazy and obsessed.

"I'm not going to feel anything- No... I'll pity you."

She smiled and held my hand and I felt chills creeping all over my body.

"I'll take it. Just be mine again."

I looked at her disappointed and took back my hand.

"I. Was. Yours. But of all those things we did? it was all in the past. I don't love you anymore, Kisha. I don't even hate you anymore. I just don't feel anything around you." She looked at me lifelessly, but I'm not gonna fall for that again. "I'll call your manager."

I walked by the reception and saw them handing out raincoats and flashlights, lumapit ako, and grabbed a flashlight which my manager immediately grabbed back.

"Hindi ka sasama." I glared at her and grabbed the raincoat and she took it back again. "Austin, I am not taking the risk of you getting out of there."

"I am going to be the one deciding."

"Artista kita. You are my responsibility, kung anong mangyayari sayo doon hindi lang ako and maaakpektohan pati nadin and buong movie nato."

I know that. I am clear about that. But I want to find her. She must be scared right now in that darkness.

"She's living with me. She's my responsibility too."

"Huh? W-Wha-- What did you say?!"

Hindi ko na siya sinagot pa at sinuot na ang raincoat.

"Sasama din ako."

I looked and saw her ex. I just nodded. We parted in three groups and started searching through the woods, through this rain, through this darkness. And I'm hoping that she's okay and not hurt.

"Lorelei!" I shouted, hoping na sana marinig niya despite this loud rain. "Lorelei!"

Lorelei

Napabukas ako nang mga mata ko at tumingin sa paligid. Madilim pero nakita ko ang flashlight  na nasa tabi ko. Kinuha ko ito at inilawan ang paligid, madumi na ang mga damit ko dahil sa putik at kagaya nang kanina ay malakas padin ang ulan.
