Chapter 12

"Donnie, is there any possible way to defeat the Freddy animatronics? Even if it's just a rumor I don't care, just tell us." Joel asked, surprising Donnie. "Well, it's just a rumor, but I've heard that they might be vulnerable to organic materials," Donnie replied, twiddling with her fingers as she looked down, embarrassed that she didn't tell them sooner. "What?" Joe chimed in, curious. "The rumor suggests that the force field or barrier surrounding the animatronics ignores organic substances because the designers didn't anticipate humans or any other organic organisms getting close to them," Donnie explained, as a smirk formed on Joel's face.

"You should have mentioned that earlier, you dust bunny," Joel said, cracking his knuckles and gaining a determined look. "But remember, it's just a rumor. We can't be certain it's true." Interjected Donnie, worried about what Joel was going to do. "We won't know until we test it," Joel replied, moving to the front of the elevator with determination burning. As the doors opened with a familiar 'Ding!' sound, he glimpsed at least 30 Freddy animatronics strategically positioned, preparing for an attack.

Without hesitation, Joel charged out of the elevator and landed a powerful punch on the animatronic in the middle, cracking her left eye and denting her muzzle. The others watched in horror as their companion was thrown back down the wide hall. Donnie stood in shock, unable to believe what she had just witnessed. As the animatronics snapped out of their stupor, they launched a coordinated attack on Joel, forming a reverse V formation in an attempt to encircle and overpower him. Analyzing their strategy, Joel smirked and dashed towards the animatronic at the back, aiming to disrupt their formation and deal with them individually.

However, in the midst of his rush, Joel was caught off guard by an animatronic that appeared out of nowhere, delivering a punch to his gut. Stumbling backward, clutching his stomach, he spotted a Freddy animatronic with thrusters on its back. The animatronic scoffed at Joel, crossing her arms. "You're not as tough as I imagined," she taunted, propelling herself upwards before diving at him. Dodging her attack, Joel attempted to land a punch, but she blocked it and swiftly retaliated, delivering a powerful blow to his chest, breaking several ribs. As Joel recovered from the impact, the animatronic landed a punch to his face while he was still dazed. "Where's the power you had when you punched my sister's face? All I see is a weakling!" she mocked, aiming a kick at Joel's liver to inflict maximum damage. Undeterred, Joel ignored the pain and retaliated with a swift sidekick to her stomach, making her stumble back. Seizing the opportunity, he rushed at her, gripping her head and delivering a series of knee strikes until her head broke. Once she fell motionless, he ruthlessly stomped on her body before turning his attention to another charging animatronic.

Meanwhile, Joe engaged in a fierce battle, deftly fending off multiple animatronics. With extreme reflexes, he seized an animatronic's arms, twisted them, and delivered a powerful punch to her face, stunning her. Releasing his grip, Joe swiftly dodged a back kick and skillfully ducked to avoid a blow to his face. Counterattacking, he blocked an incoming strike from the first animatronic he had evaded and landed an uppercut. With a fluid motion, he spun and elbowed the second animatronic that had nearly stomped on him. However, amidst the chaotic battle, Joe failed to detect an animatronic sneaking up on him from behind.

A sly animatronic with an evil smirk crept close to the unsuspecting Joe. It swiftly stood up and seized his neck, strangling him while he struggled to breathe. Joe desperately attempted to pry off the metal arms of the animatronic, but his efforts were in vain. Taking advantage of the situation, the animatronics he had been fighting closed in, launching a barrage of punches and kicks that inflicted immense pain and elicited agonized screams from Joe as the animatronic that was strangling him let go and held him by his shoulders. Hearing his brother-in-arms' suffering cries, Joel's eyes filled with rage as he abandoned the animatronic he was battling.
