Joel is at Joe's pub, having a drink. But today, he is reticent, and it was starting to concern Joe, the pub's owner. Joel is usually a charismatic fellow with hundreds of topics to talk about, so he decides to ask Joel what happened. "Hey, pal, amigo, buddy, what's up today? You look like you just went through hell and back." "I-I shot at someone last night...*sips from bourbon*" "W-What? Why? Was he trying to rob you or something?" "It wasn't a male, it was a female, or at least it had the features of a female." "What are you on about? Can you explain it in more detail?" "*sigh* You know the Anime Pizza place thing that I signed up as a joke yesterday, right? *Joe nods* Well, I went there last night to see if anyone was there, and surprise, surprise Mr. Manager is there waiting for me, it's admirable actually, waiting for little ol' me, besides I needed some extra cash anyway, so I decided to actually join in. He introduces me to the place and the animatronics I needed to protect from the baddies, and creepies. Eventually he leaves and it's only me, and those animatronics left at the Pizza place. Anyway, I'm just relaxing inside my office, feet on table, cigar in mouth, and reading my newspaper until the phone rings. The guy tells me that the animatronics move at night and will try to kill me for whatever reason and I think that is a bluff, but I still check the cameras since he sounded quite genuine, and holy shit, he was true, the rabbit animatronic was gone! I start frantically searching for her, and I found her in the parts and service room which is pretty darn close to my office. So to protect myself and my lil boy, I get the... tool out, and prepares it even though I promised myself to not use it like 20 years ago. I then warn her that she should go back if she doesn't wanna get hurt and unsurprisingly she ignores my warning and starts walking to my office down the hallway. I warn her like 3 maybe 2 times and she doesn't stop, so I shoot at her knees, and she crumbles down, when I was about to approach her to apprehend her I got tackled by another animatronic. I kick her off my body threaten her with my tool, and she runs away with her wounded friend like the chicken she is. Later their big don comes to my office, and obviously I tried to defend myself from her, but she was running so fast that I couldn't place a good shot, so I sidestep into my office and dodge her attempt to crush me into the wall. I then shut this huge metal door and we talk through the window for a bit before she leaves. I call the boss, tell him that I damaged one of his precious animatronics and surprisingly he doesn't fire me, but I did have to give up 35% of my paycheck though." During his explanation, people around the pub started listening. They were baffled at what had happened and thought he had gone crazy. "Um, that sure is a lot to take in, so let me see, you're stressed and anxious because you shot at a robot?" "But she looked so human, well if you exclude the ears and tail." "Look, you're not doing that again, just leave that in the past, m'kay? You're not shooting at flesh, you are shooting at some tin can full of electronics and wires, so just relax a little, will ya?" "I-I guess you're right, I'm not damaging a human body, I'm damaging a robot that has replacement parts... Yeah! I shouldn't feel anxious or anything, thanks buddy, I needed that. *pats Joe on his shoulder*" "It's ok pal, that is what buddies do, right?" "Have you been watching those ponies again?" "Oh, why you...!"

After spending some time at the pub, he eventually leaves and goes to his home, a van turned into an RV. He moves it to the Pizza place's parking lot and decides to get some shut-eye until 11:30 pm. Meanwhile, a golden animatronic identical to Freddy was eyeing Joel's van from the alleyway next to the Pizza place. After some time, Joel wakes up and starts preparing himself by washing his face and teeth and thoroughly cleaning his beard. By the time he was finished, it was only around 11:45 which leaves him with more than enough time to spare. He dressed up in his usual clothing, not because he didn't have any other clothes, but because he liked the ones he was wearing a lot. He leaves his van and locks it up before walking up to the Pizza place and opening the doors to find Alan looking at some papers.

"I have arrived!" Joel enters the Pizza place dramatically. "OH JESUS-God, don't do that again. You almost gave me a heart attack!" "Bah, you're fine! Anyway, how's Bonnie?" "Well, she is still in parts and service. Her knees seem to be damaged pretty badly, so she won't be coming out of there until next week when the maintenance team will arrive and take her back to one of the factories to get her fixed up." "So... how much do I have to pay?" "Let's see, each knee costs $550, plus fees which are about $239 and for property damage, $315, which means $1654, and you should probably apologize as well." "I can pay, but why?" "What do you mean by why? You gotta pay-" "No, no, about why I should apologize to her?" "I don't know, but she is demanding one pretty badly, so you probably should apologize to her before things get messy." "Isn't paying for the damages I caused enough for her? I mean $1600 is no little money." At this point, all the girls, including Foxy's, ears perked up when they heard he was paying for all of Bonnie's damages. "I told her that too, but you know how girls are. She wanted you apologizing to her in person." "God damn it, hmmm, I'll think about it." "Well, I hope you do, oh and by the way, didn't I tell you to not smoke outside the smoking room?" Alan is glaring at Joel now. "Relax I'm not gonna start a fire or anything-" "That's none of my concern! My concern is that it makes the office smell bad, and I don't want one of the rooms inside the building to reek of smoke so you better stop or else I'll cut half your pay check, got it?" "Yeah, yeah, you're the captain..." "Anyway, it's about time I leave, oh and before I forget, sign these papers." Joel then gives all the paper he was holding to Joel. "Sign right there, here, here, there, and lastly here. Anyway thanks for signing them without much trouble and I wish you a good luck tonight." Alan then leaves the Pizza place and Joel is left staring into the barely lit dining area. "God damn it, I have no idea what I signed! Hopefully it's not something important.... hopefully, anyway, let's get changed before my shift starts."
