Do you know the feeling of dread and anger? That's what Joel was feeling right now. Standing staring at a child's corpse, he dropped tears of sadness and kept repeating the word 'Sorry.' as if that was his entire vocabulary. Behind the child's corpse stood a man, fully covered by shadows and holding a bloody 10-inch knife while grinning. Joel looks up and tries throwing a punch but is caught by the man, and he plunges his knife into Joel's waist in return. Dropping to the ground while clutching his wound Joel glares at the anonymous person walking away with the child's corpse on his shoulder with his knife in hand. He eventually disappears into the void, and Joel slowly loses consciousness as he glares at the man. "I... will... find you!"

Waking up in his van Joel looks around and sees that he is sleeping on his bed with his clothes. Getting up, he picks up a vodka bottle and starts drinking from it in large amounts. After finishing 2/3 of the strong alcohol, he starts smoking a cigar like usual; taking in small drags, he checks the time to see 9:30 pm. "Too early, but if I sleep now, I won't wake up until morning... Might as well go to work early." Moving to the driver's seat, he fires up his van and starts driving out of the forest he was in. Because he was going quite fast, he reached Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria in 30 minutes.

Leaving the van and entering the Pizzeria through the repaired door, he sees all the employees doing their job. There were waiters, janitors, cooks, etc., working hard to earn money. However, further observation tells him that most of the staff were teenagers, and the men often stared at the animatronics on stage. "*sigh* Teenagers... I guess they can't help it; I would stare at them too if I were a teenage boy." As he was about to move, a waitress suddenly greeted him. "Hello, sir! Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life; where would you like to sit?"

Sweatdropping at her cheerful voice, Joel answers. "I will sit at table number #21." Following Joel to the table, the waitress prepares her clipboard and pen. "What would you like, sir? Take your time; I wouldn't wanna order the wrong thing and be sad, you know!" Looking through the menu, Joel orders. "I'll have three meat lovers' pizzas with two large fries and a big Sprite." Writing his order down, the waitress smiles. "Your order will be ready in a jiffy! Please wait." She leaves Joel to himself, who is staring at her and her features. "She's just like my wife..." He sheds a small tear before wiping it away and slapping himself. "No! I must man up! I must let her go and find that bastard of a killer...! One sip would do the job." Getting a flask out of his coat, he takes a quick sip from it and puts it back before anyone sees him drinking.

Seeing that small moment unfold, Bonnie becomes curious about Joel and what the waitress has done to him to make him shed a tear. Eventually, his order arrives, and he starts eating while everyone leaves. When closing time comes, the same waitress comes to Joel. "Sorry to interrupt your dinner, sir, but it's closing now, so please leave." Joel looks up from his pizza. "Oh, it's fine; I work here, so you can leave without warning me." The waitress becomes surprised. "Wait, does that mean you're the nightguard? That epic nightguard who defended the Pizzeria all by himself last night?" "Yes?" "O.M.Gosh! You were so cool! Those thugs never stood a chance against you; they were like, 'Oh, what's that' and then bam, you appear, and-" She was cut off by Joel, who put a finger on her mouth. "Where in god's green earth did you see my footage?" "Oh, I saw it on last night's CCTV footage." "How did you get your hands on that?" "The day guard is a good friend of mine, and she sometimes shows it to me." "So you see the girls move around during the night?" "What? No, they always stay in one spot..." Joel's eyes widen in shock. "Wait, you're telling me you guys don't see them move around at night?" "Nope, you're probably imagining things; maybe you should talk to the manager and get a break from work; surely Alan will give a few days' breaks to his heroic nightguard, right?" "Nah, I am all good; I'll check into this later; anyway, want some pizza? I didn't expect it to be this big *chuckles*."
