Lil tip for every site, you do not need to put an AN each chapter to begin with. Especially on an ARCHIVE!
But if you feel the need to leave an AN, AO3 has seperate sections for it. At the beginning and end of a chapter, as well as a field for chapter summaries.
Unlike Wattpad, AO3 is not social media. People don't really care for AN mumblings and are more likely to be annoyed. Unless it is something important, just don't write an AN.
When you first create a work, the ANs then created are for the whole fic. You need to save the draft, then edit the work to make a chapter specific AN.
