|Lyria's POV|
"Wahoo!" we shouted in unison as we zoomed past a group of people. Once we got there, it was already down-pouring.
The wind carried my bike and put it against the outside wall of Amy's home and under the roof so it doesn't rust. It also brought in my luggage. "I see you've made friends with the weather," Amy said, impressed.
"Yeah, I call the wind 'Gale', who is my little bird companion, and the thunder and lighting I personally call the siblings, but I just call them by their own names," I say while Gale was whooshing around my long quills.
Suddenly, the door burst open, causing Gale to hide behind my neck. I turned to see a blue hedgehog, a red echidna, a two-tailed fox, and a brown-orange badger drenched to the bone.
|3rd Person POV|
"Guys! Don't you know how to knock?!" Amy scolded. "Sorry, Ames. Tails couldn't stand the storm and it's too dangerous in my shack," Sonic explained.
"Amy, why is Lyria here?" Tails asked. Amy explained everything that went on ten minutes ago at the stage. Everyone was impressed with Lyria's ability to conjure weather elements, even Sonic.
|Lyria's POV|
"Wow, that's so cool, Lyria!" Sonic said, giving me a high five. "Thanks. By the way, didn't catch your names," I say. "Sonic the hedgehog." "Tails the fox." "Sticks the badger." "Knuckles the echidna."
"Hi, hi, hi, hi," I say quickly before taking a breath. "So, as Amy was saying, you can control the weather?" Sonic continues with curiosity.
"Well, kind of. I can most of the time, while at other times I can't. It gets out of control and..." I start to trail off. Awkward silence washed over us like a tsunami.
"So," I started, "Is there anything I should be concerned about during my visit here?" I asked, sitting on the couch. "Yes, actually. There's Eggman, you've already met him, Shadow, and so many more," Tails informed.
"You mean that mustached weirdo who I had to fight while I was in the middle of rehearsing for my show and I had to strike down with lightning?" I guessed dully.
"Yeah, that guy. He can be a real pain sometimes," Sonic said. "No kidding! Oh! The storm's passed! I need to go back to the stage to practice. Wanna come?" I ask, turning around before opening the door.
"Of course, Lyria! We'd love to!" Amy said. "Great! Also, the newspaper got something wrong. I do have a band. I can tell you more about it later," I say, pointing to the newspaper on Amy's dresser before zipping off to the stage.
Once I got there, I set up my lyric papers again and adjusted the microphone. "Yo, Ria!" I turned around and saw that my bandmates, Pru the Lemur and Niff the Cat, were behind me. "Guys! You came!" I say, running up to them.
"Of course we came, girl. We're your bandmates!" Pru said, swinging her arm around my neck and giving me a side hug. "True," I giggle.
"So, shall we practice?" Niff called out, struggling to drag out the drum set. "Yes, but let us help you before you break your back," Pru said, walking over with me to help out our friend.
I then spotted Amy, and her friends at the front of the stage. Thank goodness because this drum set is very heavy. "Hey, Knuckles? A little help here?" I call out. "Sure thing," said Knuckles while lifting it like no big deal. "Thanks." I say, catching my breath.
"Well, girls, let's get started!" Niff said, clicking her mallets.
