Chapter 12: She's back

|3rd Person POV|

Sonic watches as Lyria fights the tornado with all of her strength and suddenly, a ball of light surrounds her, causing the F6 tornado to dissipate, along with her. The sky turns from dark clouds to a clear blue sky with fluffy clouds.

Suddenly, Lyria's necklace appears at his shoes. He picks it up and raises it to his heart, tears slipping down his muzzle. "She's gone," he says after standing up and facing the others.

Everyone starts to shed tears, even Eggman. "Guys, guys, relax. She's an element. She'll come back," Ash says, appearing with the rest of the elements. "In about 3 seconds. 3... 2... 1...," Frosty says, counting down.

Suddenly, Lyria appears, but she's unconscious and still bleeding. Sonic runs over to her and puts her head on his lap. Then, her eyes flutter open.

|Lyria's POV|

My eyes flutter open and I'm greeted with concerned Sonic. "Lyria," "Sonic," I say, raising myself up a bit to hug him. "I'm so glad you're okay but please don't ever do that again," he says. "I can't promise that," I say.

Sonic cups his hand around my cheek and pulls me closer to him. He leans in for a kiss, which I accept. He pulls away and smiles. "I love you," I say. "I love you, too,"

Sonic helps me get up and walks me over to the others. "Lyria, you sacrificed yourself..."Pru began. "For us?" Niff finished. "Of course I did. You're my best friends," I say. Both girls pulled me into a group hug, which got bigger when the rest joined in.

"Lyria? What about the show?" Amy asked as we all pulled away. "It's still happening!" "And speaking of the show, we could use some extra singers and dancers," Pru said. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Knuckles asked. "Yes! We want you to be in our show!" I say. "Except for you Eggman," I say.
