As Grian flew down from the roof of the new Resistance headquarters, he was shaking slightly, fiddling with his hands. It had been over a week since he'd been with the Resistance. It wasn't a huge amount of time, and it wasn't like they weren't already good friends. He'd have to explain the whole mushroom thing, though even he wasn't quite sure what it was. He'd have to be a leader again, something he was unsure if he could do. Grian was fully aware that during that week or so, the Resistance had done well without him, but he was still the Mother Spore.

When his feet planted on the ground, his steps felt heavy. He sighed, pushing the double doors open. The breeze poured into the building, also pushing at the doors along with him. The eerie silence of emptiness filled the room as he stepped in.

There was a large table in the centre of the room, just like they had in their second rendition of the headquarters. Chairs surrounded it all neatly and thinly cushioned. Above the table was a quaint chandelier that illuminated the room. Grian sighed, a small smile landing on his face when he saw the button in the middle of the table. Grian couldn't resist a button.

As he started walking towards the table though, he heard a high-pitch frequency coming from his pocket. Dots and dashes, short tones and long tones... morse code. Grian pulled the keychain out of his pocket and listened intently to the tones. Most of the Hermits had learned morse code due to the fact they didn't always have the most advanced communication, and especially with the start of the war. Grian did wonder how much was jam-packed in this keychain though, and why Scar even had it in the first place.

The message finished and a sense of urgency rose in his heart. Whether he needed to talk to the Resistance or make sure Scar was okay first was such a last-second decision. Grian just kept shaking, he just kept breathing. It picked up, and it felt like he was breathing too much and too little all at once. He couldn't betray the Resistance, but he was worried about Scar. Though, maybe he'd already betrayed the Resistance a bit with how much he worried for Scar.

Grian unsteadily walked up to the table, pressing the button before deploying his elytra and flying right back out the double doors. He knew for a fact that was the emergency meeting button, so now the Resistance would be safe and he could fly off to check on Scar. He knew it was a reckless decision and whether it was the best one he couldn't be sure.

As he flew off, the wind blew his hair back off his face. He bolted across the sky but his breathing didn't slow. His heart pounded faster and faster it seemed. Just his luck to be flying when his breathing was so out of sorts. Grian started nearing the island, getting closer to the factory. It was in his sights... until it wasn't. His vision was blurry, his head was throbbing, and so was his heart. No, not again.

His elytra was still deployed but his body was falling limp. The deja vu of falling right out of the sky, it all hit again. This time, Scar wasn't there to catch him. Grian's body hit the water and at that point there was no going back. His body nearly folded as he sank into the water, kelp brushing across his legs and face and bubbles rising.

Not again. I need to make sure Scar's okay.

In a whirl of confusion, the Resistance members had disappeared from the MooPop Factory. The HEP watched as they seemed to faze out of the room, leaving them alone, looking around with raised eyebrows and jaws agape. The Resistance were just as confused when they appeared at their respective chairs at the meeting table and the first thing they heard was a swoop of an elytra. All of them had been in too much shock from the sudden teleport to even see who it was.

"Did we just-?" Etho was nearly speechless.

"Who pressed the button?!" Jevin threw his hands up, not in much anger. "Ren?!"
