Fate dealt me two cards the other day,
Two cards I would rather not keep.
They're the kind I can't let go, can't forget,
The sort of ones that I cannot put back down on the table.I can't discard them,
No one else can take them,
They're my cards now,
And they hurt.But I don't blame Fate.
I can't blame her, she was just doing her job.
I blame the higher power that gave Fate her cards
To give to me.
Because it's just not fair.No one should get given those cards.
The game Fate and I play is not designed to be fair.A/N

Poetryi don't write very often but it's nice to share some stuff, so don't go raising your expectations. some poetry comes from experiences and feelings and other pieces have nothing to do with me at all; that's the beauty of words.
