After that night Jennie saw Lisa for the last time, she never felt more hopeless.

Despair - was what Jennie experienced, for the first time in her life.

Everything in Jennie's body that night screamed to turn around, embrace Lisa in a tight warm hug, and never let her go.

But since the moment Lisa voiced her feelings for Jennie, she knew it was impossible for them to do that ever again.

Lisa's sincere feelings made Jennie's heart clench in pain. It was pure agony - as she watched the person she loves and cares for since she was 8, plead with her not to leave as her eyes were filled with tears.

But how could she do that to Lisa? How could she stay, if she was aware that Lisa wanted more than a friendship?

What kind of friend would Jennie be to let Lisa stay by her side while Jennie lives out her life happily by someone else's side, possibly a man's.

As much as it pained Jennie, as much as it destroyed her to leave the only person that ever made her feel loved, she knew she couldn't afford to be selfish.

That same night, as she was walking home, she pulled out her phone from the back pocket of her jeans, her hands still trembling, not from the cold breeze touching her bare skin - but from the devastating experience she just had to go through.

The situation still felt unreal, she's been walking for about thirty minutes now, avoiding having to come to her empty cold apartment.

She decided to call her friend, Rosé.

"Hey, did i wake you up?"

Jennie said with a trembling voice.

"Hey Jen, no you didn't don't worry, i was just ordering some food before going to bed, what's up?"

Rosé answered with tiredness evident in her voice.

"I- i need to talk to you"

Jennie said, trying to control her tears as they were close to bursting out at any second.

"What's wrong Jennie? where are you?"

Rosé's tone suddenly changed as she heard Jennie's distressed voice.

"I don't know i can't- i can't-"

Jennie struggled to keep breathing as her chest began to tighten, her heartbeat increasing by every passing second.

"Turn on your location and send it to me right now, I'm coming to get you"

Jennie's vision got blurry, everything around her was causing the panic to grow even more.

She realized she completely lost any sense of direction at this point, as she was walking mindlessly for the last thirty minutes.

"O-okay"

Jennie whispered into the phone as tears warmed her cold cheeks.

She managed to turn her location on while she blinked furiously, trying to see clearly and sent the location to Rosé.

"I'll be there as soon as i can, don't move and stay safe"

Rosé hurridly said and hang up the phone.

Jennie sat on one of the sidewalks while her whole body felt like it was suffocating, as she tried to catch her breath and calm down.

But that was out of the question when she became lighheaded all of the sudden, everything around her became blurry, her heart felt like it dropped to her stomach when she realized she was losing consciousness. But eventually her body and brain both gave up simultaneously, leaving the weak girl fall into a comatose state.
