story introduction

Lisa and Jennie knew each other since childhood. They met at a playground, Jennie was there all alone because she had no friends, everyone was always making fun of her for being chubby and weird.

Lisa although she had many friends walked up to her and asked her if she wanted to be friends with her. Jennie was hesitant because this never happened to her, no one was ever so nice to her, but she eventually said yes.

The two of them were out playing almost every day. One day the kids were laughing at Jennie and called her names "pig, fatty" and stuff like that, but Lisa defended her and yelled at them to leave her alone. And because there was more of them and Jennie and Lisa were only two they tried to attack Jennie but Lisa stood in the way and yelled at Jennie to run, but Jennie stayed and eventually both of them ended up on the ground growling in pain.

Jennie was crying and Lisa comforted her promising she would revenge them.
A week later she snuck around the house of one of the mean kids and stole his bike.

Then the kid came and asked Lisa if she knew anything about his bike, Jennie was present too. So she said "no,i have no idea where it is" and smirked , he got angry and grabbed her by the collar , she pushed him away agressively and kicked him between his legs , "that's what you get for bullying my friend, jerk" Jennie hugged Lisa and said "thank you" she was really emotional, because this was the first time that someone showed that they care about her, and it meant the world to her.

Jennie didn't have it easy at home either, her father was an alcoholic and an abuser, he never really cared about his family.

Her mom wasn't exactly a role model either, she never had a stable job because they always fired her for drinking on the job or stealing.

Her family was poor because of this, her father was an engineer but you can imagine the same scenario as the mom's.
So basically she never really felt safe anywhere, not in school, not at home, but with Lisa? She felt at peace whenever she was with her, Lisa was her safe place.

Lisa's family on the other hand wasn't poor, they were very rich, but she was never spoiled.

Her parents were strict so she can be well behaved and have good manners when she grows up.

She has an older brother named Hyunjin, they love each other to death, they are always here for each other more than anyone else could be, and when their parents yell at them they always comfort each other .

Although her parents never really show her affection she isn't like that, since she started making friends she learned to express her emotions more and be empathetic.

That's why when she saw poor little Jennie all alone on the playground, knowing she doesn't have any friends and people call her stupid names for fun, she felt sorry and wanted to get to know her.

Later in life when they go to high school together, they're obviously still friends, but not as much as they used to be.
They became distant, as it usually happens in life, people drift away from each other.

But the reason for this might be a little different than usual. Because best friends since childhood don't just stop talking to each other and act like strangers all of the sudden.

I mean all the things they've been through,all the laughing at stupid things, bickering each other for fun, racing each other to their houses , riding the stolen bike from that mean kid and smiling at how amazing it feels to be together knowing they're always gonna protect each other. What could possibly happen to ruin all of this?

hey guys, i don't usually write notes but since this is my first chapter, i wanted to say thank you for reading , the next part is gonna be longer don't worry, it's just an introduction to the story. i hope you like it.
