We live in our little area of suburbia, in our neighborhood thanks to the group last night, no zombies on are the street. As soon as we leave our gated community they are everywhere, mostly standing around nothing. When they see moved, like the minivan they give chase.

My heart is racing, this can't be real. This seriously feels just like a movie. A few streets over I see them chasing down a woman. I clear my throat, "How do we choose who to save?"

Jack shrugs, "If saving them won't kill us."

"Okay." I whisper.

A huge, lifted pickup follows us out of town, when we're far enough away from the zombies Jack pulls over handgun ready. In truck two very tattooed men hold guns on Jack. They both lower their guns at the same time.

"I'm Aj and this is Rupert, where are you guys headed?" Both men have tattoos coming up out if their shirts, and it's sexy as hell.

"I'm Jack and this is Matt." He doesn't mention me in the back, with the tinted windows they shouldn't be able to see me anyways. "We're headed up into the mountains, how about you?"

"Same, hwy 70 is blocked a ton of people were heading out that way." Aj says.

"What about i25 to get south then over to hwy 24?"

"Not sure, that's the way we are heading. What to join?"

"Sure, we'll follow you." Jack says. And so begins our drive south. The roads are seriously packed, and not with cars that are currently driving. The dead are everywhere, some trapped in their cars, a lot trying to get in our way as Aj and Rupert plow through them. Thankfully Jack drives just behind them so the way is clear.

"Are you alright back there?" Matt asks me.

I swallow, "I'm fine. Just wondering how far up we'll have to go."

"I'm thinking we'll stop west of Woodland Park." Jack says.

We drive for six freaking hours at a slow pace because of how many zombies Aj's truck has to plow through. It's a slow pace, once we're in Colorado Springs the pace is slower. There are a few other cars fleeing like us, but not many.

The news station is telling everyone to lock themselves inside still, and I wonder how many people are actually listening. As we approach the mountains on hwy 24 traffic is completely stopped and there doesn't seem to be a way around. There's a steep cliff on one side, and a drop off on the other.

Rupert jumps out of the truck, "I think we can take this road up and at least find somewhere to stay. What do you think? Can your minivan make it?"

Jack gets out looking at the tiny off road that's gated up. "Do you have bolt cutters? I think we'll make it up the road."

"Yeah, I think so." Rupert towers over Jack, he jumps into the back of the truck coming out with a pair of bolt cutters and cuts the padlock. "I have another lock we can put on it."

"Good idea." I don't think it's such a good idea being locked up with two more strangers!

Rupert throws open the gate and Aj and Jack drive through. Then he relocks it and hops back in the truck. Our minivan barely makes it up the steep driveway. Once we're there at the top I gasp. There's a huge log cabin and a three-car garage.

"Stay in the minivan Rosemary." Matt says, "We need to make sure it's safe up here before we let them know we have you. Okay?"

I nod and him and he winks at me, I hold on to the kitchen knife scanning the thick woods for any signs of the bleeding eyed zombie.

The four men clear the garage first, there is one jeep parked inside. The front door is unlocked which worries me, I hear two shots go off. I grip my knife tighter watching for movement. I can't see the other side of the house.

Matt runs out the front door and opens my door. "The previous owners are out back, we'll bury them after we settle in."

"I haven't seen any movement. Maybe they won't find us up here?" I say hopefully.

"I'm not taking chances we're definitely going to be fencing the property in, we need enough space for crops."

"Thinking ahead?" I laugh and catch the attention of Aj.

"I thought you said it's just the two of you?" He glares at Jack.

Jack scratches the back of his head, "Would you tell people you have your sister hidden in the back?"

"Good point." Aj says.

"Rosemary, come meet Aj and Rupert."

I step out of the minivan backpack in hand, I wave at both of them. Aj has longer hair unruly, and a mustache and beard. He's so freaking sexy. Rupert, is just slightly shorter, around 6ft, with close cropped hair and tattoos up to his clean shaved jaw.

"Hi." I blush. Matt wraps an arm around my waist and leads me into the house.

"There's only two bathrooms in here." Matt says, "I figured we'd take the master."

"And why do you figure that?" Rupert smirks devilishly.

"I've got the girl." Matt smirks at him.

"For now." Aj says, "I'm a big fan of sharing."

Jack groans, "It's up to my sister whatever she wants to do. But she does deserve the bedroom with the bathroom."

"Thanks bro." I say.

I do take the master bedroom, I double check the closets, under the bed, and bathroom before setting my bag down on the made bed.

I go back outside to help unload supplies, thank goodness Aj and Rupert came prepared too. It takes a long time to sort everything, we move our camping stuff to the jeep for a quick getaway just in case.

I turn on the t.v., it's already on the news station. An emergency broadcast is just repeating some "Safe" locations, like the bases around the Springs. But really how safe can those be?

I feel couch dip and I look over to see Aj looking at the t.v. I scoot a little away from him, it's not that I don't trust him. It's that Matt seemed to have woken up my libido and I want Aj and Rupert just as much as I want Matt.

"How many rooms does this cabin have?" I ask.

"Four, if we add any new people we'll have to share."

"We'll need to go gather more supplies while we can." I say.

He smirks, "I agree, and some generators I don't trust how long the power will be on. Depending on the weather tomorrow, we'll all go."

"Good, I don't want to stay here alone. I keep worrying Jack is going to make me stay behind."

"Do you do everything Jack and Matt say?" He asks.

"I've only just met Matt." I admit.

He laughs, "I kinda thought so. I was serious, I'd love to share you."

I glance over at him, "I'll think about it."

I go find my brother outside chopping down trees, "What are you doing?"

"We need wood for fences." He states in a duh tone.

"Tomorrow we're going out for more supplies."

He nods, "We should before their all taken." Jack studies me for a moment, "Please be careful with all of these men. I know it's easy to get caught up in the fun. I just don't want you to regret anything."

I grin, "I'll give it some time to think about it. Thanking for being supportive."
