Everyone is lounging around the living room which somehow is able to fit three huge couches. This house is perfect.

"So," Aj starts, "Six rooms upstairs and two down here. I think that's plenty of space. Plus, the guest cabin where the staff was."

"Dead now?" Matt confirms with Leon, he nods.

"How much of the property is fenced?" Wally asks.

"Didn't get a chance to check that." Jack answers. "Everything working in here?"

"So far so good. I think there are enough solar panels that it's running itself not even connected to the city. We need to get the log cabin functioning the same way." Rupert says.

"When we went to Big R for the chicken coop I found a manual on solar, and gardening." Matt says.

"You did? Why didn't you say anything?" I ask.

"I've been reading the solar one, trying to compile a list of stuff we'll need." He winks at me.

"I'm excited, we got this." I grin.

Matt comes over to the couch I'm on scooping me up and putting me on his lap. I jump when the back door opens, and Locklin joins us. "Guess what I found?" He gives me a smirk.

"What?" I leap up to meet him by the kitchen where he dumps a shirt loaded with eggs. "Omg! There are chickens!?"

He laughs, "Yes. Just five so we'll need to find more and a rooster if we want to add any more. I fed them. There is also a large garden already going, just a little overgrown with weeds."

"What was this place?" I ask almost in tears with how happy I am.

Wally clears his throat, "I went through some papers, this is just a summer home for some rich people. Only staff lived here year-round."

"I feel like we lucked out that they weren't home." River comments.

Aj clears his throat, "Let's go see how secure the perimeter is. We need to know what should be addressed first."

"Agreed. I'd feel safer having Addy back at the log cabin." Jack squeezes her knee. She blushes, I really hope she doesn't get my brother killed.

"After we go over security, we'll all go back for our stuff and supplies." Aj says.

"Alright let's go." Ollie says.

As we go outside and actually look at the huge wrought iron fencing we see that it only blocks off the entrance to the ridge house. No one will be getting around this gate. However, nothing else is fenced, well besides the garden and large chicken coop space.

We meet back up by the cars, "There is a lot of space to cover here." Ollie says.

"Tomorrow we'll start on securing it." Aj agrees, "Let's take the empty cars to go load more supplies while the rest of us start unloading this."

Leon, Locklin and River groan, "We'll take my truck back over and load it." Locklin says.

"Sounds good. Rosemary say good bye to your brother."

I blink, well duh, but at the same time I'm not sure I like him being so far away. "Sis, we'll make a path that connects the two so it's easy and secure to move back and forth. Okay?"

I nod, giving him a hug. "Stay safe okay?"

He grins, "Will do. I'm annoyed we have to reassemble the main bedroom."

"Whatever." I laugh, shoving him back towards Addy. "See you tomorrow."

I watch the jeep and truck drive back through the gates before. Ollie swats my ass, "Get to work woman." He chuckles.

I grin, "Aye aye." I start unloading the escalade with them. I nearly get lost in the kitchen, it's so big. The pantry is like the size of a bedroom, which is great because we have a lot to store. I check the fridge to see if we need to clear anything out. The only things in there are a weird collection of hot sauces they must clear everything out when they leave the property.

Together with the six of us we get everything unpacked by the time the others return with our stuff.

"How are we choosing rooms?" I ask Aj.

He rubs the back of his head staring out the living room windows to the expanse of the city below. "I liked sharing a room, but for those who don't want to I suppose there is space to spread out."

"Have you picked a room yet?" He grins at me. Snagging my hand as we go upstairs. He leads me into a room that has a bed big enough for all of us. "Damn, what are the odds?"

"I know it's perfect. I'd like to sleep in here, but we'll let everyone make their own decisions."
