We heard the last noise around six pm, all of us were hungry by that point. Ollie and Locklin decide to go out and clear the house. I hear the back door slam. Two shots go off and we hear all clear.

Jack pokes his head out the door, "Coming out."

Matt and Wally head out after, Aj keeps me tucked into his side. Until we hear the door open and close one more time. Matt comes back into the room, "We're clear."

I leap up, "Addy, help me get dinner started." Addy glares at me, I narrow my eyes on her, "You don't work you don't stay here."

River gets up, "I'll help you, she just." He waves towards her.

I give him a bit of a manic smile, "Ask anyone. Aj darling?"

He chuckles, "River leave this to the girls. They need to sort this out themselves. We have a perimeter to secure and a fence to finish."

Aj leaves the room, Rupert and River following behind. River looks like he wants to make another comment but just shrugs and follows them out. Leon laughs, "I think I'll help with dinner too."

Addy finally stands from the closet, "My mom just died, and it's not like I didn't help earlier with the fence." She scowls at me.

"It's going to take more than that to survive." I tell her honestly, "You need to put in as much effort as you can. Just helping isn't enough anymore. All of us have lost family members, you're not alone in that." I try to give her a smile, but I know it's not the prettiest. I head out to the kitchen and start pulling out frozen chicken and throwing bags of frozen veggies at Leon.

"Geez woman, you could knock me out with these." He laughs.

"Addy get a few frying pans out, please." I add trying to sound somewhat polite.

She mutters something before complying, Jack pokes his head in from the living room. "All good here? I just got everything cleaned back up."

"We're good." Leon answers, as he starts opening the bags and dumping them in frying pans.

"Alrighty, I'll get back outside."

Addy watches his back disappear with a slight grin. I roll my eyes and spin back to the stovetop. Yes, Jack needs a woman but does it have to be this one?

I feel hands grip my waist, and I automatically push my butt back. Leon chuckles, "What do you want to season this with?"

"The steak and chop." I point to the spice rack. Addy grabs it, studying the back.

"I'm a vegetarian."

I laugh, "I'll cook the chicken separately. You know that may be a really good thing because meat is going to be hard to find pretty soon."

"I feel like you're making fun of me." She narrows her eyes on us.

"I'm not." I roll my eyes and turn back to the food once again. "Actually, Addy do you have any experience gardening?" I ask her.

"Not really. Why?"

"Me either, but I need to water the garden. Could you do that while I cook?"

She shrugs, "Sure I guess."

Once the back door closes, I turn the heat on low and pull down my pants. Leon laughs, "That's my girl."

He pulls his down too and bends me over the counter. "You're such a dirty girl. Getting rid of the baby so we can fuck."

I laugh, "I just need you now."

"You've got me." He gives me a thrust, and I gasp. "Oh, you like this." He chuckles, pumping me full over and over. Even the sharp edge of the counter felt like it made the fuck so much better.

The door opens, but Leon holds my head still so I can't look. It closes with an angry sounding Jack. We both burst out laughing, and his thrusts got wilder, and faster. He ripped my tank top down with one hand squeezing my breast so hard, I came from that alone. He follows right behind me, with a grunt then a laugh.

"I'm so glad to have found you, dirty girl."

"Likewise," I pant and start pulling up my pants, turning the burner back on to medium.

"Do you actually need help in here?" Leon asks.

I giggle, "No but send her back in and go save our crops." He laughs.

"You're going to torture me instead?"

"Yep." I pop the p, "Get out there."

Exactly five minutes after Leon leaves Addy comes in towing Jack. "Oh Jacky, you're so funny." She coos.

He narrows his eyes on me, "You need help sis?"

"Yeah, get in here and stir these. How's the garden looking?" I ask Addy.

"Like a bunch of dirt." She shrugs as she starts stirring the vegetables, "I don't how that's going to keep us fed through winter."

Jack laughs, "Just wait and see. Rosemary is really good with plants."

Addy makes a hmph noise and keeps stirring, "Anyway is the fence done? How many were in the yard still?"

Jack focuses on me, "There were a few, and they should be done now. So, we should be safe. Tomorrow we'll get your chickens." He promises me.

"Thank you. Go tell them that dinner is done." I grin at him.

Addy raises a brow at me, "These have like ten more minutes."

"I know, but they rush in so cute." I giggle. Matt is the first in the door, "Wash up." I tell him.

He swats my ass as he passes with a smirk, I start setting the table glad for the help even if she does still annoy me.
