The day went on and it ended up raining. And we finally had the chance to meet up with Mikey at the graveyard. Take told him what happened with me adding in a few things.

"I see," Mikey said as he finished praying. "So you heard about my brother."

"Shinichiro was so badass," Kenny said.

"Yeah."

"Takemitchy, Danny... we know. We know there's nothing we can do about that incident. It's not like Baji or Kazutora meant for it to go down like that."

"Yeah," Mikey said as he stood up. "I know there's nothing we can do. But my heart can't accept it."

Fair enough, I thought as we left. Take, Chifuyu and I followed Mikey and Kenny. If a friend killed Take, I would never be able to accept it...

"The CB250T that Baji and Kazutora tried to steal was my brother's."

"What?" Take questioned.

"It was supposed to be my birthday present." We all came to a stop as we reached the bikes. "That CB250T is all I've got left of my brother. It's my precious ride. It's been two years now. I've forgiven Baji. But... even if they didn't know, and even if there's nothing we can do about it now... Kazutora killed my brother, and I'll never be able to forgive him for that. Or Baji for going over to Kazutora's side. Takemitchy... I'm pretty sure I asked you to bring Baji back. What's Baji's Vice Captain doing here instead of him? What are you trying to do, Takemitchy? Do you really want to die?"

"I, uh..." he trailed off. "Mikey..." Take finally spoke up after a few moments and stepped forward. "I... I want to be the head of Toman!" Everyone was shocked.

You just joined not even a week ago, and you're already saying this...?

"I'll make you acknowledge that someday. That's what I want to do!"

I sighed to myself before leaving with Take and Chifuyu. I didn't really hang out with Take much around this time in our lives, but I don't think he was this pig-headed.

"You're insane. You're like, beyond oblivious," Chifuyu said.

"Try living with him," I commented.

"Yeah... I'm not sure why I said something like that either. My heart is still racing..."

"How about this," Chifuyu said, stepping in front of him and stopping. "I'll help you get to the top of Toman," he held his hand out, "if you help me with what I'm trying to do."

"Huh? Does that mean you think I could actually make it to the top of Toman?"

"Not in the least," he replied, waving the thought off.

"I knew it! You're making fun of me, aren't you?!"

"But I'll help you out."

"Okay, fine," Take sighed, shaking his hand. "I'll help you out too."

"Pleasure to have you on board, partner!" Chifuyu grinned. "What about you, Danny? " he asked, turning to me.

"I like Baji, so, of course, I'll help." I nodded.

"By the way, Takemichi, we're in the same grade, so you can always skip the formalities with me."

"What?! We are? You should've told me sooner! Danny, did you know?"

"I don't have the energy to deal with you today," I sighed as we started walking again.

He huffed. "Well, you're a Vice Captain, so I figured you were older than me," he defended. "Oh... though I guess you outrank me in Toman, anyway."
