"RAN! WHERE ARE MY GLASSES?!"
With a yawn, Ran walked across the hallway to Rindou's room to see him moving stuff around with his eyes squinted and brows furrowed in an attempt to sharpen his vision the slightest bit. "Didja check the bathroom, Four-eyes?" he asked with a lazy smirk.
Rindou clicked his tongue in annoyance and sent a glare at his brother's blurry figure. "I checked fucking everywhere. Doesn't help I can't see a Goddamned thing."
With an amused smirk tugging at his lips, Ran let out a small chuckle. "I'll ask Danny, see if she's seen them." With that being said, he went over to her room, seeing that she was nowhere in sight, before he went out to the living room where he found her lying on the couch reading Shonen Jump Weekly. "Hey, you seen Chicken Little's glasses?" With her staying with them the last few days now and calling his brother that almost constantly, he had naturally taken to it as well. Rindou had been annoyed and pouty about it at first, but now he just ignored it.
... Shit, she thought with a sweatdrop as she paused her reading. "Funny story..." she lowered the book enough to look at the taller male, "I ran outta contacts. ... And we have the same prescription."
The sound of heavy footsteps immediately sounded after she said that. "Give them back," Rindou demanded as he stopped right behind the couch. He looked angry both from being irritated by the fact that she even dared to take his glasses and from the fact that he had to squint to see somewhat clearly.
Ran, who was standing at the other end of the couch, stifled a laugh at the scene.
"Hate ta say this when you're being so serious, but my feet don't have eyes," Danny said with a smirk. With a vein popping from his forehead now, Rindou looked at the other end of the couch, where Danny's head was, with an almost murderous glare. "Besides, I dealt with that blindness for three whole days. You should have an extra pair anyway, right?"
"No, I don't. Hand them over," he said as he held his hand out, the other on his hip.
She looked from his pissed-off face, to his hand, and back to his face. "If I give you the cash, can you buy me a pair? I like sight as much as you do."
"Deal," he rolled his eyes, "but I'll need those to go out."
"Deal," she agreed as she took the round spectacles off and put them in his hand. "I'll grab the cash." After placing the TV remote in the book, she got up and headed off to do that.
"Three days, huh?" Ran commented a couple of moments after she walked out. "Heh, she can function better than when you lose them," he added with a teasing smirk thrown at his brother, who now had the glasses on.
"Oh, shut up," he grumbled. This is the cleanest they've been since I got them... "At least I can see."
"I've got 20k here, that should be good enough, right?" Danny asked as she walked past Ran before holding the money out for Rindou to take.
"Yeah, should be," he replied as he took the money, quickly counting it before pocketing it.
"And I'd prefer wide-frames if they got those, not the squared nerdy glasses either, please," she added as Rindou began walking toward the door to get his coat and shoes on. I get enough of that sight with Baji...
"Yeah, whatever." With a roll of his eyes, he finished getting his shoes on and left, leaving the tallest and shortest inhabitants of the apartment alone.
"You hungry?" Danny asked after a few moments.
"Sure." Ran shrugged, pushing off the wall. "Watcha makin'?"
