Jungkook's interview went pretty well. Well enough to get him a new job.

He doesn't like coffee as much as he does other drinks, but the dog hybrid he met was nice and so was the pay.

In all honesty, this was his first real job. He had worked at a store once for the summer only, so he didn't have too much experience with working.

He had no experience at all with coffee machines so of course he fumbled a bit, but Hoseok, the dog hybrid, had shown him so carefully how to handle everything. He stayed by his side for what seemed like forever.

Especially when he took orders.

It didn't help that it was only the two of them in the shop, but there hadn't been many people come by at all, probably opting for some other coffee shop instead.

But there was one person that came by that caught Jungkook's attention almost immediately upon seeing him.

"Oh gosh," the hardly familiar werewolf muttered as he walked up to the two hybrids. "This guy completely ruined my afternoon yesterday," he told Hoseok, who barely budged to react.

The way the guy was talking to Hoseok... Seemed that they were friends.

"Ah, hyung, don't be so hard on him," Hoseok said, wrapping an arm around Jungkook's shoulder. "He's our new employee. Let him take your order."

He didn't like the fact that Hoseok and the wolf knew each other. He also didn't like the uninterested look in the wolf's eyes as he scanned the bunny.

"You gonna spill my drink again, bunny?" His voice sounded a bit cold as well. Too cold for Jungkook's liking.

"I won't," he huffed back. "I didn't spill your drink yesterday, anyway. You're the one who ran into me."

With that, the werewolf furrowed his eyebrows. "I was just kidding, but I won't let you blame that on me. You ran in front of me, freshman. Get your facts straight and give me my damn coffee or go home."

Well, that was much harsher than his first remark. Rude.

"Hyung," Hoseok warned, but the werewolf scoffed.

"Service is taking forever. Why'd you hire this guy?"

Jungkook hadn't even realized that he had cowered back from the register, bunny ears flat on his head. Something about the werewolf made him feel... weird.

"I'll take your order. What can I get you?" he finally asked, trying hard to not grind his teeth.

The wolf hummed, crossing his arms. "That white drink back there. The one in the cooler. I'm sure you'll know which one it is. You didn't have a hard time finding it yesterday, when you knocked it out of—"

"Coming right up!" Hoseok cut him off, reaching for Jungkook's arm, drawing his attention to the little freezer stocked with drinks behind them.

Eventually, the wolf finally got his drink, but Jungkook still didn't feel too good about it. Any of it.

Just the look in the wolf's eyes; the way he looks down at Jungkook; the pure satisfaction of being able to intimidate and pick at such a small bunny like him. Jungkook can't do anything, even if he wanted to.

For one, he's at work and it would get him fired. Two, he's a bunny. A bunny. Versus a werewolf, he'd get thrown around and eaten like dinner.

Maybe that's the reason he feels so unsettled by the wolf. Jungkook is nothing but a chew toy to him. Of course, he'd try to get a reaction out of Jungkook like that.
