Their date went quite nicely.
First, Seokjin stopped by to walk Jungkook to his car, which Jungkook had never seen before, and he couldn't take his eyes off of the older as he drove him for the first time to the restaurant he had mentioned before.
The restaurant had great food and nice service, and neither of them were awkward like Jungkook thought they might would be.
They talked nearly the entire time, or if they weren't talking, they were giving knowing glances and smiles, which led to brushing their feet under the table which made their smiles wider.
"You're a lot more touchy now than you were before."
Jungkook nodded. "It's because I don't have to pretend like I don't want to be touchy anymore. Unless you don't like it, then I'll stop."
Seokjin started with his meal, scooping up some meat before answering, "I like being touchy if it's with you." He stuffed his mouth with rice afterwards, cheeky as he looked up at Jungkook and chomped on his food.
"Good."
Jungkook went for the same meal, pushing the meat and a wrap into his mouth. They both looked crazy for stuffing their mouths, but with their full cheeks and soft gaze, Jungkook wouldn't mind having unlimited dinners with Seokjin. Both talking and eating together felt natural.
It felt like he was meant to be this comfortable and also so happy to be sitting there with Seokjin.

"Oh, hi!"
Jungkook narrowed his eyes upon being interrupted.
He and Seokjin were hanging out, studying together in the library, and they were both really concentrated! Jungkook had made them a focusing potion to help them study better and yet there they were, being taken out of focus by Yihyun.
She was interrupting their study date, as Jungkook had happily declared it. Seokjin agreed that it could be a date for them, but, "Are you guys studying? Mind if I join?" Yihyun had asked Seokjin specifically. Jungkook shook his head at her immediately.
"Nope." He leaned back in his chair and took Seokjin's hand in his, intertwining their fingers. "I'm his soulmate. We're on a very private date right now."
Yihyun was now wide-eyed, but she also looked confused, as if she thought Jungkook was joking with her.
"Mhm."
Seokjin chuckled lightly. "Jungkook, baby... it's mate, not soulmate." He was smiling from ear to ear.
The younger shrugged at him. "Sure. I'm his mate, his soulmate, boyfriend, or whatever you wanna say— but we're on a study date. I know Namjoon hyung was trying to get you two together before, but it's fine now. We're all good here."
Yihyun pursed her lips together in thought for a moment, but Seokjin leaned closer to Jungkook and rested his chin on his shoulder. Yihyun inched away a bit at the sight.
"I'm so sorry, I had no idea. I didn't mean to interrupt— I'll just go now. Don't mind me." She backed off completely, seeming embarrassed as she lowered her head.
Jungkook felt bad, seeing that. Felt bad after realizing how chill she was despite him being so claim-y, but he still wanted her to know that Seokjin is taken now.
They've been on a few dates and they were starting to get used to each other in that way, and slowly, they were becoming more of a couple rather than just friends.
That's exactly what Jungkook wanted.

They had been on many little dates and had been hanging out quite a lot. So, gentle rubs on Jungkook's back, quick kisses on the cheek, holding hands a few times, cuddling once or twice, and flirting— it all turned into so much more with time.
Soft, cute kisses turned into something more.
When Jungkook had gone to Seokjin's dorm and Yoongi wasn't there, Seokjin had suggested cuddling— it was raining and they were both tired from such a long, miserable day.
They did cuddle, tangled up under Seokjin's blanket with Jungkook laying on his chest as the older pet gently right between his bunny ears. Jungkook was the first to initiate their kiss, which started out as soft and comforting, canceling out the slow and consuming rain outside. It was sweet and warming to the touch.
But Seokjin's hand gradually crept down Jungkook's back, resting just above his ass as their tongues finally met between kisses.
Jungkook raised his leg over Seokjin's and brushed Seokjin's hair back as he pulled him in for more. And he shuddered as Seokjin hummed against his lips, deep and breathy as he also pulled Jungkook in for more.
That was how they ended up under Seokjin's blankets, pants barely lowered out of the way and bulges needily pressing against each other. For the first time, they both came undone with their lips and hands all over each other, messily, and both extremely flustered by it.
For the first time, they got to see that side of each other.
