The clicking of the door surprised Jungkook and seeing Hoseok open the door with no key needed surprised him even more.

"It wasn't even locked," he announced as the bunny and werewolf stood up.

"It was too!" Jungkook pouted as he spoke, not enjoying the slightly irritated look in Hoseok's eyes. He's used to smiles and laughs, but not this.

"Get to work," he warned Jungkook. "Our manager had an emergency and left. The shop has been closed for over an hour because of this."

"The door was locked," Seokjin spoke up. Though Jungkook wouldn't expect it, at least the wolf was confirming for him.

"I- I know what happened," Jungkook muttered. "My friend tried to put a good luck spell on me and it went wrong. I've had bad luck all day, I swear!"

Hoseok's eyebrows raised as Seokjin scoffed. "Why was I involved in your bad luck spell?"

Jungkook scoffed as well. "Wonder why."

"Just—" Hoseok sighed at them. "Get to work, Jungkook-ssi."

Jungkook hurried out of the storage room and of course, immediately, due to said bad luck, he ran straight into someone by accident.

"I- I'm so sorry!"

He realized who it was straight away. His roommate; the vampire; Chanseok. Instead of being upset, the vampire smiled down at him, his hand snaked around his back.

"It's fine."

"Wow." They both stepped apart upon hearing Seokjin's voice. "You run into people too much. Watch where you're going, freshman."

Jungkook crossed his arms at that. "Mind your business. At least he didn't make such a big deal about it like you did."

"You knocked my drink out of my hand when you ran into me. I had a reason to make a big deal about it."

"Yeah, I apologized, though."

"Apologizing didn't make my day any less horrible, you know—"

"Hey, hey," Chanseok spoke up between them. He placed his hand back on Jungkook's back, and Seokjin had his eyes narrowed at him for interrupting. "It's all good. Don't worry about it. I'll see you in the dorm later, okay, Jungkook?"

He pat Jungkook's back a bit, smiling at him before walking off. Much nicer than the ass standing in front of him.

"You made him uncomfortable."

Seokjin shrugged. "Your little bloodsucker boyfriend can suck it up. I still don't like you, freshman, so I don't care."

"You don't like me? Seriously?" Jungkook laughed, amused. "He's not my boyfriend, first of all. And I could care less if you like me, 'cause you're not exactly my favorite, you know."

"Yeah." Hoseok walked out from behind the wolf, chuckling. "Namjoon is his favorite werewolf."

Seokjin narrowed his eyes. "Namjoon? Stay away from my brother."

"No, I won't," Jungkook huffed in return. "And I have work to do. Go cry about it, wolf."

He left like that, with the older growling and Hoseok following behind, laughing as low as he could as he wrapped an arm around Jungkook's shoulder.

"He does not like that at all," he told Jungkook.

"Good."

Very good.

Jungkook can be friends with whoever he wants to. And Chanseok... has nothing to do with any of this. He just happened to be there, right?

With his hand wrapped around Jungkook and kind smile he'd never seen before, it was nice. Chanseok must be starting to finally like Jungkook as his roommate, so that's good.
