ALYSSA swung through the city towards the chaos that went on at City Hall.
She noticed a big green monster, Green Goblin, approaching a group of officers who shot at him like stupid people. She used one hand to web the guns away from their hands.
"Trying to get killed?" She asked the group of officers as she swung by. "Spider-Blu I-" "save it" she cut a officer off. "I'll handle it, evacuate any people from city hall" she told them. God, she hated cops. She couldn't believe a 18 year old was more responsible than these middle aged men.
Before anyone from the group could answer she swung towards Green Goblin from his blind side. She shot some web tying him up as a distraction. He was strong so he could easily get out of her web so she didn't bother stressing about how tight the string was. She used all of the power she had, swinging full speed, kicking him stark in the nose.
She didn't kick him hard enough for him to fall down the way he did. The girl sat confused as he fell hard starting to...glitch?
"The hell" she muttered as she looked down at him from where she was, on top of a building.
She was quick to get out of her confusing, figuring this would be a great time to catch him.
She webbed him more than last time, sticking it to the floor, assuring he wouldn't be able to get out. She took a look at him closer. His skin was paler, he was shorter, more muscle. She had a feeling this wasn't her green goblin.
As if on cue a bright glow emitted behind her. She was quick to turn around being met with some kind of weird portal. She backed away slightly getting into a fighting position rather quickly.
A very tall man came out of the portal, he wore a suit so see couldn't she his face. It was a dark blue and red. She saw his big muscles though she didn't feel one bit intimidated. "Calm yourself Alyssa. No one is here to hurt you" He said as he lifted his mask. He had black hair and a sharp jawline. You could easily tell he was unthreatened by the look on his face.
Alyssa stance didn't falter. She didn't even take off her mask though for good reason. She didn't know that man, taking off her mask would only confirm who she was. "Who are you?" I asked him, my eyebrows furrowing under my mask though it just came out as wrinkles in her mask.
"Isn't it obvious?" He asked, motioning his hand towards himself, or rather his suit. "You can't be spider man. There's already a spider man" she said, still not trusting the man.
He sighed, irritated. He'd had to admit though, he admired the way she made sure she could trust the man before just letting him do whatever he was planning to do.
"I'm not from here, I'm from a different dimension" he said, the girl looked at him with a disbelieving face though he couldn't see it.
"How do I know you're not lying?" She asked, her stance loosening a bit as she scanned his face though finding no signs of him lying. The green goblin behind them glitched again, both of their eyes darting to the villain. "That's how" he said.
She wanted to believe him but there was this small part in her that didn't. Alyssa was always one to listen to any unsureness she had. "Prove it" she said. The man pinched the brim his nose, obviously tired of this. He handed the girl a rubber bracelet and went towards the green goblin, bubbling it in some weird thing. "The hell is this supposed to do?" She asked looking at the flimsy band. "It's so you can go to another dimension without ending up like him" he said, mentioning the green goblin. "It only works for where we're going and it's only a day pass" he said as he neared the portal again. "Do you want to figure out if I'm lying or not?" He asked as he went into the portal.
Alyssa looked between the portal and the rubber bracelet in her hand. Her sense didn't go off, meaning her wasn't dangerous so maybe he wasn't lying. If he is though she'd be totally fucked. "God damnit" she muttered as she put the rubber bracelet on and walked into the portal.
