HOBIE made it his own personal goal to figure that girl out before he got bored.
He'd constantly crack jokes around, figuring out what makes her laugh.
So far nothing.
Maybe it was just the fact he had just met her, but he just couldn't seem to get any kind of loop on that girl. No reaction or anything. He didn't know if the girl had a liking for him, didn't like him, was neutral about him. It was like to that girl he wasn't even there.
So Hobie did what Hobie knew best. Annoy.
He had the perfect opportunity too. He had a mission today and was told he needed a partner and to just find one.
He wasn't gonna miss a opportunity like this. Everything's connected, this could be how he got a loop on her. Was he supposed to just not try?
Alyssa was at her studio, working on a new duo floor routine for her upcoming competition. She thanked that her spider powers enhanced her hearing because the sound of thuds, talking, and laughter would have concealed the alerts on her watch on the bench.
"Im going to take a bathroom break" she told her partner before quickly going to grab her bag and into a different room.
"What the hell" she whispered yelled at the hologram on her watch as she placed it on her wrist. "Ey up, need your help" Hobie said his British accent strong. "Can't it wait, living a life here" Alyssa said obviously annoyed. "No can do lyss-" "don't call me that" Hobie rolled his eyes. "Quite a bore aren't you?" "Can't you speed this up?" "I need your help on a mission" Alyssa furrowed her eyebrows. "Why me?" She asked him, no one ever asked her to be a mission partner. "Because it's you're whole thing innit?" Hobie said. I mean yeah that wasn't the whole reason but what was he gonna say 'I wanna figure you out' no.
"What we dealing with?" Alyssa asked, accepting without accepting. "What you aren't gonna actually accept my offer" "I just asked you who we are dealing with" "I wanna hear you say it" Alyssa sighed as she looked at the holographic version of Hobie. "You're ridiculous" she told Hobie who just looked at her with an expecting look. "Yes I'll go with you" she muttered lowly. "Huh? Couldn't quite catch that luv" he said as he cupped his ear dramatically. She groaned in annoyance "I said I'll go with you" she answered to a smirking Hobie. "I heard you the first time by the way" he said. Alyssa smacked her teeth, annoyed with him.
"Who's the anomaly" she asked irritatedly. "A prowler. Earth 8402" "I'll get Lyla to get me info on him" "make it quick yeah?" "Don't rush me, London" "I'm not even from Lon-" Alyssa had hung up the call, if you could call it that, before the boy could finish though the boy still had a smirk on his face.
Operation: get to know her was in the clear

Yay another excuse to work on chapters I have no plan for.
I would say I made up the numbers I used for the earth the prowler they are catching is in but I didn't, I rewatched atsv and seen those numbers somewhere so I can only hope I'm right.
