Alarms sounded in Jimin's head at the dreading situation. It was only minutes after being attacked, but rather than lying in his pool of blood, Jungkook was the one suffering. His wound had reopened from the commotion, and his progressing infection had sent him unconscious.
Before Jimin knew it, he had rushed to Jungkook's side in a panic, attempting to wake him up. "Jungkook? Damnit, Jungkook, open your eyes!"
The brunette's pale face remained unresponsive, causing Jimin to squirm in hysteria. "Fuck... fuck! I'm not going to lose you too."
He began to put pressure on the wound and attempted to stop the bleeding with his hands, but the sight only grew more gruesome and the situation grew wary. "Shit." He cursed.
Jimin began to scream out for help again, afraid to leave the male's side, but seconds turned into minutes, time was wasting. Jimin was beginning to feel helpless, Jungkook was giving out in his arms, the longer they waited, the less of a chance he'd survive this. Did he want him to?
"Why did you lie to me? You made me promise to your sick lies, I fucking trusted you with my life, with everything..." Jimin cried, stifling his sobs.
His head snapped up at the front door being charged open, cops filled and stormed the house and were quick to notify the department, but to Jimin's disbelief, there was no sign of Namjoon.
However, someone else had arrived at the scene, his steps light and rushed, the male collapsing against the doorway, bags of groceries spilling onto the floor, Taehyung's eyes widening with terror.
"How?! Only away for a f-few hours, Min-ah, what the hell happened, did you let him in!? Are—you crazy?!" The troubled male screamed, his healing voice becoming jagged, dropping to the ground and trying to shove Jimin away from the unconscious brunette.
"Tell me! You're bleeding! Jimin, did he... hurt you?"
"No!" Jimin cried, his body trembling.
"Boys, you two will be escorted out to the ambulance. Please let us handle the situation, we need to assess the area and the body—" An officer spoke, only to be cut off.
"Body?! No! No, he's not dead, he's still breathing!" Jimin exclaimed with dread. One of the officers bent down, examined, looked for signs of life, and checked Jungkook's pulse. but the odds weren't in his favor.
Jimin turned his head away and cradled into Taehyung's arms. they stayed that way until the paramedics arrived. It was like deja vu all over, except this time Jungkook was carried away and put into the ambulance.
