It all starts of with my parents divorcing.
In this world deep down in my mind I have chosen this to be my starting path of this long destiny. My mom and dad are going trough a very stressfull divorce, every evening shouting and screaming.I can't sleep.
I hear my dad raping my mom forcing her to do stuff.
"Good girl!" I hear him say.
The next day her light pink arms are full of dark bruises. They must hurt I think by myself. This night is the same. Only the screams are way louder and then they stop. I put my head down on my fluffy pillow and get ready to sleep.
I hear sirens all around me.
I look at my phone. 4am. Slowly I walk over to my window to see what is going on. On the driveway there is an amubalnce. Suddently I see two paramedics carry the liveless body of my mother into the back of the ambulance. The police is talking to my dad. I go downstairs crying, trying to breathe. I ask what happened.
My dad replies:"Your mom fell and hit her head on the kitchen counter, she didn't make it honey. I am sorry."
I could see the sad look on his face was all just an act. I wanted to tell the police about all the abuse my dad did to us, but I didn't. Big mistake.
We get transferred to the police station. A long night of interviews awaiting for us. We sit there in silence, my dad and me, we don't even look at eachother because we both know what really happened that evening. There was a lot of tension but it was alright because this tension has been there for over three years now. The police brought us into separate interrogation rooms. I was tired and broken. But yet I didn't cry. It all felt like a dream. Like I would wake up in the morning and see my mom making me oatmeal like she used to do. But it wasn't. And it shall never be.
