Nick POV

While the rain storms on me, I wait for Karl to open the door even though I haven't ringed the bell yet.

As if he knew I was here, the door gets opened by him. "Nick?" He confusedly looks at me "hi." I smile.

"what are you doing here-" he pulls me inside, after laying the trash away, "I don't know.." I truly answer.

"You're completely wet, stay there." he says while walking away to get me a towel. When he came back he started to dry my hair with it.

"you're so stupid." Karl sighs as he hands me clothes over "go to the bathroom and wear these, or else you'll get sick."

"I'm sorry." I say "hm?" he turns around "for what?" he asks when suddenly someone enters the corridor.

a girl.

"what happened?" she asks "oh, nothing. Go back to my room." Karl quickly says and I make my way to the bathroom.

Fuck, who's that? Is that his new girlfriend? Has he moved on by now? Does he really not like me anymore? Did I fuck up that bad?

I wipe my tear away as I get dressed.

"Nick?" I hear Karl's voice after staying in the bathroom for minutes "are you okay?" he asks "yes, I'm okay! Just a second!" I quickly wipe my other tear away before opening the door.

"Thanks for the clothes." I smile at him "you sure you're okay?" he looks at me with a worried face.

"why were you in front of my door? While it was raining?" he asks me "I didn't know where else to go.. my parents had a fight." I quickly make something up.

"George wasn't home because of.. you maybe can tell." I add "again?" he sighs "I'm sorry for you Nick."

I feel his eyes constantly on me while I avoid eye contact.

"You wanna stay over?" he asks "no, I'll leave. If I could borrow a umbrella?" I smile, but not at him.

"She's just a friend.. if it's that." Karl says which makes me look at him. I want to apologise but what if the 'just friends' change?

"I'm sorry." I sigh without controlling it "for what?" he asks "everything." I whisper.

"Like I told you.. I made a mistake with the break up. Since the day you left everything felt different, negative different." I tell Karl.

"You're the one who brought light into my world, positivity, with you I could talk about anything and I'm so- so! sorry for not appreciating it!" I breath in.

"I really love you, miss you and more and more! I need you in my life and I know you said-" I get cut off by his lips.

My breathing starts to relax and I close my eyes as I take his hand into mine.
"This has always been the only way to shut you up." Karl says before continuing to kiss me.

We walk into the bathroom, Karl locks the door before leaning me against it. The kiss hasn't been broken and it's not feeling like it'll soon.

Our lips move along with each others as if they're dancing together. His hands move to my neck and before I knew it the kiss got intim.

His tongue slid into my mouth before it connects with mine. I move my hands to his and my body leans closer to his.

I feel the small smile on his lips as he removes his hands from my neck and goes up to my cheeks.

We continued kissing like that for a few more minutes before he breaks our kiss. For a few seconds I left my eyes closed and when I opened them I saw him smiling at me.

I feel myself getting a little red.

"wait here." He says before opening the door and leaving into his room. I hear a few talking but I can't understand what they're saying.

Suddenly the girl leaves Karls room, with a bag in her hand, and I look to Karl. "Family Problem." He shrugs his shoulders with a smile on his face.

We walk into his room and throw ourselves on his bed.

"You forgive me?" I look at him "of course I do." Karl kisses my cheek. "We are back together?" I ask "yes, yes we are."

"Why was she here?" I ask "just to hang over." Karl says as he looks to the tv "just to hang over?" I repeat.

"Yes. There's no need to worry, she's a normal friend." Karl kisses my cheek again "if you say so." I grab his hand.
