VII - Terza

A/N: Part two of Terzo Coming out

"Morning", Omega greeted his partner in a slightly rough morning voice as they met at breakfast.
"Morning", Terzo replied a little nervous.
"I missed you this morning, you were up so soon", the Ghoul laughed while grabbing for a bowl of yoghurt.
"Yeah I couldn't sleep so I decided to do some paperwork. I'm sorry you had to wake up alone"
"It's not a big deal but are you alright?", he reached for Terzo's hand.
"I hope you're not too stressed, you know that stress can have a massive impact on your sleep"
"Yeah I know and.. well yeah I'm alright. Though I'll need to discuss something with you later", he spoke in a dimmed voice and looked at his partner with a serious face.
"So secretive", he whispered let out an amused chuckle, though he understood the matter was serious to Terzo.
"Sorry", he then said and lifted his hands innocently as Terzo gave him a stern look.
"Wanna have a seat then?", he asked and the Papa agreed, leading the way to the long dining table. "Good morning", the two of them greeted everyone and Omega quickly turned back to his childish manner by throwing a strawberry at Alpha.
After a huge food fight and a relatively relaxed breakfast, the Clergy parted and the couple made its way upstairs to their room.
"I hate how Nihil's always pushing us", Omega complains as they step inside.
"Do not spend too much time changing, we are leaving in exactly ten minutes", he imitated Nihil's voice which made Terzo chuckle.
"Yeah right!", he agreed and walked over to the closet where he'd pick his usual ritual outfit.
"Hey", he then starts and turns around to Omega.
"The thing I wanted to discuss with you.. I'd like to do that now", he said and felt his heart race as if it would shoot out his chest any moment.
"Yeah sure, what is it?", Omega asked while throwing a pair of socks across the room.
"Sit with me"
"Hm?", he'd ask confused.
"Come sit with me", Terzo said and sat down on their bed before patting the spot to his left.
"So it's that serious?"
"It really is".
The Ghoul finally took a seat and looked patiently at his partner.
"If this is about Sister's complaint about-"
"Omega, I'm trans!", Terzo almost yelled at the man and he only stared at the Papa in surprise.
"What?", he asked a moment later as if he was making sure he'd heard correctly.
"I said that I'm trans", Terzo said, all courage now regathered in his chest.
The Ghoul nodded slowly.
"Alright, that's fine by me", he eventually said and Terzo sighed relieved.
"I'm sorry, I just didn't expect this which is why it took for me a moment to get it. But I'm cool with it", he laughed and cupped Terzo's chin with his hand.
"I love you no matter what", he said and the Papa smiled.
"I love you too", he wrapped his arms around the Ghoul and squeezed him tightly.
"So after you let me breathe again-", Omega gasped and was freed from the very warm and welcomed hug.
"I'd like to know what's the situation now. So have you got a new name and pronouns or are you still unsure for now?"
The Papa fiddled with their fingers insecurely.
"I think I'll go by Terza and-"
"No", the Ghoul reached for his partner's chin once again and lifted their face so they'd face him.
"You don't have to be nervous or ashamed of telling me. Now, what's your name?"
"Terza", she said in a clear voice.
"And your pronouns?"
"She/her"
He smiled.
"Alright Terza. Thank you for telling me, I'm glad you know you can always trust me with such sensitive topics and identity matters".
"Thank you for being such an awesome boyfriend"
"Anything for my beautiful girlfriend", he said and Terza blushed, now realising how much she enjoyed finally hearing female terms used for her.
"Now let's get changed before Nihil kicks the door open"
"You mean he'll order sister to throw an oxygen tank through it?", Terza laughed.
"Exactly", Omega chuckled.
"So d'you wanna go and ask the Ghoulettes to lend you some clothes or should we go shopping later? I want for you to feel comfortable as soon as possible"
"That's so sweet of you! Yeah, I'd love to go shopping with you. For now I can just wear my usual clothes, I'd say a cloak is pretty gender neutral so I'll be fine"
"Alright", the Ghoul gave his girlfriend a kiss on the cheek and both started getting changed.
