The only thing keeping Minho from pacing back and forth across the room was the stinging pain in his leg. He knew he'd overdone it with the running but he was still glad he'd been able to do something. Seonghwa did the pacing for him, nervously checking the clock every five seconds.

After they'd gotten back, they'd explained everything to the patients in the medical wing, ordering everyone to stay in the room and remain quiet. Other than Seonghwa's constant footsteps and the occasional whispered conversation, the room had stayed silent.

But the silence was suffocating. He needed answers.

Just as he was about to stand, the doors shuddered as someone tried to open them on the other side.

"Hey! Open up! It's me! The fighting is over! You can come out now!"

Minho stood, hobbling over to the door and throwing it open, grabbing Han and pulling him into a tight embrace.

"Thank god you're okay," he sighed, holding him close. "I shouldn't have let you go with your one arm but I didn't think I could stop you."

Han laughed, gripping Minho tighter.

"You were right about that. And what about you?? Where's your crutch?"

Just as he said it, Seonghwa stepped up, eyes wide.

"You said it's over? The zombies aren't being controlled anymore??"

Han stepped back, turning to him.

"Yeah, it's a long story but the boy ended up being the one controlling everyone and Kyungsoon found the cure. So now we're going around administering it to anyone in need."

Seonghwa reached forward, pulling Han into a hug. He struggled in surprise but gradually accepted, giving him an awkward pat on the back.

"Thank you. Where can I find the cure? Are there samples in the lab?"

Han reached into his pocket, pulling one out.

"I figured I'd let you do it," he smiled and Seonghwa took it, rushing past him and heading up the stairwell.

"Hey! Bring my crutch back, will you??" Minho called.

"You left it up there?" Han scoffed.

"It's keeping Hongjoong locked up. It was the best I could do in the time that I had."

Han crossed his arms.

"So you walked all the way back here without it??"

Minho sighed, not wanting to argue with him.

"I'll use it every day from now on. It was an emergency."

Jisung smiled, nodding.

"What about you?? Where did you end up?" Minho asked, having been waiting patiently to ask.

"I found Changbin in the stairwell with Felix. Thankfully nothing happened to him but he refused to let Felix go anywhere without him. So he held him until the control stopped. I checked on him just before I got back here and gave Felix the cure."

Minho's eyes lit up.

"He's cured?? God, it feels like it's been forever since Felix was just Felix."

"I know. I'm really glad he's okay now."

"Well what about Chan?? Did you hear anything yet?"

Han shook his head.

"No, I haven't seen him. I just hope he didn't have to wake up in that room..."
