Chapter 14~ Relaxing

The next morning, Az woke in the same place he had fallen asleep: right on his desk. After reaching for his phone to check it, he noticed the time was 9 AM. He had gotten about five hours of sleep but felt no more rested than he was when he had passed out. However, he did see a single text that made him grin from ear to ear. "~It's ready-".Around 1:45 PM in the afternoon, a familiar black 300 pulls up in front of Mikey's home and honks the horn. Inside the car, Jakob and Pietri are in the same spots as the previous day. Jakob wore his usual scowl while Pietri seemed to be in an even better mood than before, smiling and nodding along with the music that was thumping through the speakers of the vehicle. Valeria would get a text message from Pietri. "~We are outside boss lady ready to go to work~".

Valeria had taken a nap. She needed to get her body used to a new sleep schedule just as much as Mikey needed since he was working once more. Once she woke up around 10 am, she was able to have her shower and get dressed in a short dark beige dress that showed her legs even more since the edge stopped just above half her thighs with the same black platform heels. Her hair was down and styled with waves. She had her vanilla perfume on and her makeup was simple with her usual cat eyeliner and a soft pink lip gloss for her lips. She was able to transfer her items to a black strapped purse to carry and made her way down to have lunch with her brother. They both talked about her temp job and how her first day was which impressed him a lot. She heard a ding, seeing it was to state her ride was here. She smiled and hugged Mikey tightly before making her way out towards the vehicle. As she stepped out and waved at the boys inside the car. Quietly making her way to them.

The moment Pietri saw Valeria emerge from the home, he hurriedly clambered out of the passenger seat and moved to the back to open the door for her. He offered her a bright smile as she approached the car. "Good morning Boss Lady! I hope you slept like a stump!" She would be heard Jakob audibly groan from the driver's seat, even through the back door being open.

She couldn't help but giggle "Morning Pietri. Im well rested thank you." She leaned forward a bit, covering her chest with a hand as she climbed in "Morning Jakob" she stated a little softer since he was still sour. She sat down and buckled up, waiting patiently to be brought to work

Jakob grunted out "Morning." In response to her, Pietri began with how his night went from what he had when he got home to the odd dream he had where he was a bug. The drive was relatively uneventful up until the point they arrived at The Pit. Pietri let Valeria out of her seat as usual, while Jakob climbed out for a smoke while leaning against the car. The arrival events had nearly mirrored the previous day, right up to Pietri making his way to the front door and opening it for her until Valeria's phone chimed with a text from Az. "~gonna be there in a few hours. Hanging out for the day.~"

As she walked in, she heard her phone and took a few steps slowing as she read the text "~sounds good!~" she replied back and a smiley face emoji at the end. Just like the day before, she went up to her office to put her stuff away before coming back down to the main area. This time she waited about only an hour before the opening of the club that she went to check on the girls "Hello gorgeous, are we ready for another eventful night?." Some of the girls smiled and some didn't. Of course, all mixed emotions at this point. Valeria didn't care but kept a smile "We start in an hour. Do your final prep!." She said before closing the door and making her way back down to check on a few other employees.

Pietri had accompanied her through every course of her day so far, from the point she took her things upstairs to the moment she had gone to check on the girls. He had followed her through with an impressed look on his face at how quickly she had adapted to her position, stepping off to the side to help a couple of the girls as needed. As time passed to opening, the usual customers began coming in along with some new ones as well.
