Growing up in Obsidian like her brother Mikey. They were both abandoned at a young age and only Mikey was able to take care of her due to his powers. Their old man, father figure brought them in to take shelter at the gym as their new home, she learned how to do a few things such as cleaning, cooking, and especially fighting.
She wanted to learn how to fight after her childhood of being beaten up by those with powers. She had gotten badly beaten that she had a few scars around her body and one on the side of her right cheek. She usually hid it with makeup but without it, it was very visible. The other scars were one on her rib from the time it had been broken. Another on her hip from a knife slash in her teen years which is also why she still wears clothing that covered those areas.
Ever since Mikey found out about those, he had kept a close eye on her. He wouldn't leave her alone outside the Gym.
Valeria had wanted to get her medical license since Mikey would come back with bruises, cuts, stabs, and broken bones. Each time she would see him come back, it would break her heart and she took the time to get him back feet. She had started out by buying some medical books from the library in town. Then once Mikey made money with fights in and out of the Gym, he told her he would buy her education so that she can continue it, unfortunately, it was abroad in Japan. She eventually learned the language and lived in Japan for over 7 years but in school for 5 years. She only just came back home for a break before her next final semester.
