Chapter 18~ Such a City

A couple of weeks have passed, and Valeria has been enjoying her stay at the Pit nightclub with Az and his crew. The both of them have grown closer since their first kiss. They've spent more time together outside the club, visiting Mikey a lot more since they've grown closer to Valeria's time to go back to school in Japan in only a month. 

Valeria made sure to spend extra time with her brother since that was the original plan between them before meeting Az, she loved him and would try to spend as much time as she could during her shift and a bit before and after them. The closer she was to her last day, the sadder she would become. She didn't want to leave her home, she didn't want to leave her brother and her crush. She actually enjoyed being back home for once, even though just a few months back she was just kidnapped. Since that day, she had moved on and her night terrors would still occur but not as strong as they used to. She forgave her brother Mikey after telling her that his lover was her kidnapper, she was still not impressed but she was just mistaken for a "girlfriend" by that psycho, Kat. It was just a bump in the road she would tell herself, it might not be the best way of putting it but, it helped calm herself when she would feel anxious from it.

Present

It was finally Sunday morning after a long week of bidding. That week, Valeria sold over 75k worth of women to buyers. Some nights were amazing and serious about the bidding but a few nights were just pricks saying that she should be bought. Well, it did come with the job to please the eyes of others in order to sell. Surprisingly, she had not seen that male who approached her a few weeks ago nor seen any of his men. 

A yawn was made as her hands rubbed her face to wake up, she turned over to her side and instantly faced Az. She couldn't help but smile softly before scooting herself closer to his chest with her face pressed against it. Her hands slid along his side to wrap behind him as her eyes closed and let herself melt into his body heat; she remained quiet until he would wake up.

The moment Az felt her hands on his side, his eyes opened slowly with a soft inhale. Seeing and feeling Valeria press herself against him brought a sleepy smile to his face while his arm wrapped around her tightly. "Mmn..Mornin' already..?" Was mumbled tiredly into the pillow his head was on.

She nodded to his words, still keeping herself pressed to him "Sadly it is.. Could stay in bed all day but.. I want to get more dresses for here" Her words were sweeter in tone as she just woke up as well. Her head tilted back to look up at him, her face being makeup-less; giving him big puppy blue eyes. "Wanna come?" she asked softly.

Az blinked a couple of times down at her. "Shopping? There ain't places worth shoppin' at here Darlin'." He grinned a bit. "I know a place where there is though."

She felt a bit of a burning feeling in her upper cheeks to the nickname he gave her. She questioned why he'd say there weren't any good ones out here, most of her dresses are from here. Besides, there are only a few cities out here that have big-name brands. "Where then?" she asked with a slight tilt of her head, wondering what he had in mind.

"Ya ever been to Genusis?" Az sat up on his elbow, looking down at her curiously. "All kindsa places there. Makes Obsidian look like a little burg." He chuckled softly, sitting up fully after speaking to stretch.

Raising up a bit, now sitting on his stomach with both hands on his chest "No, I haven't. Never actually took the time to leave Obsidian before, except for Japan that is". As soon as she felt he was about to stretch, she slid off his frame and sat on her knees. "Really? Genusis is that big?? So need to go then!" She spoke out with excitement in her tone, giving faint little hops on the bed. Not knowing what she would expect, she began daydreaming about the number of shops for all types of dresses, suits, and shoes. Anything! She finally snapped out of her short moment, to look at Az.
