~Warning, some forcefulness and Smut~
"Jax..."
At that moment, you were not sure how you felt seeing Jax. He stood patiently at the doorway with a faint grin plastered on his face. You watched him lean away back into the house, leaving the door open for you. Seems he wanted to take the chance at letting you back in after all these years. Your heart was racing as you weren't prepared to see him, let alone the inside of the home you once lived in.
Taking a large breath and exhaling, you began walking to the front door only to see that the house was furnished, meaning they have been here long enough. But how long, that's the question? It was a little messy, but what house is not?
"Seems the crest still works" Jax stated.
Your head shifted towards him, watching as he was fixing himself a smoothie that he has blended up what seems to be moments before you arrived. Usually, when he has a smoothie, it meant he had finished his workout. Seems he still kept the same routine after all those years. Your eyes shifted away, ignoring his remark about the curse they place on you. It was a curse.
You kept looking around the house, feeling as if someone else would be appearing so you took your time being careful with your steps.
"She's not home. She doesn't live here since she has her own place in the city" Jax stated once more, wondering if you'll ever answer to him.
Hearing his words, brought some relief since you surely weren't ready to face that hot-headed demon. At that moment Jax was already aware of how quiet you had been as you roamed the house. He knew this would bring some memories back. You'd manage to walk away towards your old bedroom, pressing a hand to the doorway, and peaked in. Seeing that it remained the same with just a little dust covering the exposed fabrics. It didn't seem to have changed at all. Odd. You decided to walk away from the room and made your way to the balcony to take some fresh air. Once you stepped foot on the balcony, your memories flooded back to the time they wanted to make things official between you three. Bringing a hand up to press against your forehead with a hand gripping the railing tightly. Taking another breath to calm yourself down, looking around at the wooded area behind the house; Jax had made his way out to you, placing a hand on your shoulder in a comforting way but you frowned your brows and quickly pushed his hand away, with a few steps back in defense. You watched his arm lower down onto the railing, gripping it tightly as if he was holding back some anger from your small outburst.
"I see. Still not comfortable around me even if it's been years." Jax stated, taking a swig of his smoothie. He lowered his glass down on the railing before putting the other hand down on the railing with a slight lean.
Sighing softly at his words. They were right, you didn't feel comfortable around either of them right now. Especially when they are the ones that made the so-called drug. Turning your frame back towards the railing with both hands on it, your head tipped down
"I thought you guys had left the city entirely" Your words were low as if some emotions were behind them. This wasn't the type of tone you wanted to use but it meant to get behind his eyes and into his mind about what has been going on in his city.
"We did. After you left home, Kat was so angry that she packed up her stuff and took the decision on leaving this place. Haha.. should have seen her face... Beat red and all." He sighed for a moment, leaving another chuckle to escape his lips. "When we left, she placed the house up for sale. But, I couldn't just leave and forget about the memories we built here... so I bought the house back under a different name and paid my sister the amount from my personal account. This is home to me and a little me felt that maybe someday you'd come back even though you could have called for me through that crest, but you never did. So I waited." At the end of his words, his head turned over toward you, watching your expression and seeing that it did change. He could tell you regretted leaving them, especially when it was out of the argument that you had forgotten months later. Nothing was left as it was between you three since they had found out you slept with other people while being in a "relationship" with them. It wasn't official at the time either. It seems that they had planned to because of the collar you hold in your office. Still un-used. It had both their names on it and it had their family crest, just like the one you hold on your left hip. Honestly, you would have settled with the crest on your neck if you were still theirs.
