Why the World Needs Damirae (Damian x Raven)

Why hello there everyone. It has been a very long time since my last update. Mostly because there hasn't been very much to talk about as of late. But, wouldn't you know it I do finally have something to talk about and that is the comic WildC.A.T.s and that's because in issues 7/8 both Damian and Raven appear on the same team and Damian is revealed to be crushing on Raven. It's not much. But, it is something. More than anything the past few years.

Now this is set in a doomed earth within the multiverse but the 2 of them are actually on the same team. See the character of Grifter has been around the multiverse and this team agrees to come in and help him out and there is the one moment where Grifter roasts Damian for complimenting raven. There's almost no interactions between Damian and Raven in this comic as they aren't the focal point and based on the ending of the issue it looks like there sadly won't be anymore as this version of Damian gets killed off a few pages later after he tries to help out Grifter. I do hope it isn't the end of Damian in this story. But, I guess we will have to wait until the next issue to find out. But, hey I can appreciate the fact that they had this little part on the issue. So that was nice. Plus we get a more assertive and badass Raven that we haven't exactly gotten in the comics in quite awhile it feels like. So I appreciate that.

Also a quick update for Damian and Raven outside of this it seems that Raven is kind of going to just be stuck in the Titans book for awhile where she didn't really get the best showing. Elsewhere Damian is about to be in the upcoming Batman & Robin book that releases September and it seems he will be going through his anime weeb phase. So that could be kind of fun seeing him in high school. But other than that the live action Titans show has come to an end. It wasn't exactly the best when it came to these character. Raven was the only decent one. As for Damian he will be appearing in the upcoming Batman Brave and the Bold movie whenever that ends up coming out. I'm not sure about animation though. Raven will still appear in teen titans go (which I'm shocked is still going on like what the hell put it out of it's misery already). Then for Damian he will probably just appear in the next season of Harley Quinn and that's about it for now. Only time will tell what happens next for both characters. I can only hope they both get the respect they deserve.

But, anyways what do you all think and also how have you all been? So sorry I haven't updated in forever. There's just been not much Damirae related stuff to talk about sadly. Aside from some fan art and fanfics. Things have been super quiet in the fandom. I do miss seeing them around and the hype when Apokolips War came out. I wonder if we will ever get some sort of follow up to it. There was that Constantine short film that acted as an epilogue to the DCAMU  which ended on some sort of strange ambiguous cliffhanger ending. But as of right now there's no follow up it's just so quiet within the fandom anymore. I hope to see it get livelier again one of these days. I miss when things were more lively.  Now with that said I feel like I have rambled on long enough for today. I hope everyone is doing ok. Also, if anyone has any suggestions for how I should continue this book. Please let me know as I do miss updating things on here. I just ran out of ideas of what to put down. So please let me know if you have anymore suggestions! Oh and here's hoping we get more Damirae related stuff in the near future. It's always fun to talk about it. Alright, time to wrap this up.
