I decided to write this explaining why this ship between the characters of Damian Wayne/Robin and Rachel Roth/Raven needs to happen. This is the only time I've ever truly cared that a ship has to take place to write something about it. I mean we all...
Well hello everyone. I know it probably feels like an absolute eternity since I updated this thing and I guess all I can say is that I am sorry for letting you all down. I just haven't been able to think of what would be a good update for this book on here. Plus Wattpad has been falling off for quite awhile now and it's just not as good as it once was a few years ago. There's way too many ads and even my DMs are gone now and that makes me sad. In terms of this book specifically it started out as a book documenting their appearances together all the way up to when they finally became canon. After that happened the book went into talking about a few other things and speculating on whether or not we would ever see them together again. Whether in the dcamu or some other means. Well I guess I can safely say that I finally have a bit of an update for once. I can confirm to you all that Damian and Raven have in fact appeared together in the latest tomorrowverse movie.

However, their appearances is pretty much just part of a flashback into Constantine's memories. They were redrawn as part of the tomorrowverse animation style. But, that's as far as things go in terms of them appearing in this movie or any other part of the crisis movies for that matter. The movie basically ends with a new monoverse being created as we have to watch basically every universe get destroyed. This includes the teen titans 2003 world, the super friends world, and also the DCAU where we get to see Kevin Conroy's final line as Batman. I'll admit he does have one great final line as Batman.
This part got me a little choked up because he will always be my favorite Batman and it sucks he is no longer around. Rest in Peace Kevin. You were the best.

But, anyways aside from that final line from Kevin and the brief nonverbal cameo of Damian and Raven the rest of this movie and the other 2 parts were just really bad. I didn't like the tomorrowverse. I think it's probably the worst string of animated films dc has ever done. Just consistently boring movies from start to finish with not so great voice direction, a not so great looking animation style, and the inability to to make me care. It's amazing how far dc has fallen in terms of animation. I didn't love everything the dcamu did but it was so much better than whatever the hell the last 4 years have been. I actually think had they stuck with the old creative team of the dcamu and built up to crisis where they legit crossed over with other animated universes in ways that worked we could have had something special. But instead we got this. I'm just glad that the Tomorrowverse is over. However, that leaves me wondering just what the hell is next for DC including the 2 demon birds themselves.
The truth is I don't really know. I wish I did. Crisis felt like my last great big hope of seeing Damian and Raven return in some capacity and although we technically did. It wasn't as satisfying as it could have been. I'm glad they at least got acknowledged but I wanted something more. Seeing the 2 of them both in this brief little appearance just made me miss them more. It also made me miss writing in this book. I feel bad for not updating it much as of late but I just don't have as much to talk about anymore. I know that Damian and Raven could still appear together in other media. But it's just not the same as seeing the versions of these 2 that made me a fan of the ship in the first place. There was something special there and I feel like there's a lot of untapped potential with these 2 that DC isn't exploring enough. Who knows though maybe we will see them together in another animated dc property. Hell, maybe it will be in James Gunn's new DCU. Damian is after all his favorite Robin and Raven is his favorite Titan in general. So the possibility is there.
Now, looking back on this book I started making updates going all the way back to 2017. That feels like such a long ass time ago. But, I'm glad I started writing in it because I was able to make some friends on here as a result. Although not everyone who I talked to in the beginning is still around on this platform anymore. I hope that they're all doing ok. I'll always cherish those interactions we once had together. I'm just glad that at least some of you are still around and talking to me. I appreciate that.
Anyways, I have rambled on long enough. I promise y'all that I am not ending this book. It will always be around. Whenever new Damian and Raven stuff happens I'll be around to talk about it. Believe me. I want to talk about them more. I seriously do miss them a lot. Also, if anyone has any other suggestions for this book please let me know. I'd love to keep updating it more frequently.
I guess before I end this chapter I will say that the fact that they did appear in this latest movie. Even for a brief cameo of sorts. Means that they weren't totally forgotten about by DC. So to me that's a good sign and that means that there is always potential for them to return in some capacity. I'm never gonna give up hope that we won't see them again. Hell I waited 4 years and they still did end up appearing in something new here. So to all the Damirae shippers out there. Though the odds may seem slim of them returning. Never say never because when you least expect it they will return! Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Anyways, on that note I shall end this update. I hope all of you are doing well these days and like I said earlier if you have any suggestions on how to continue this book. Please let me know. So with all that said. Thank you all for reading this and I hope you all have a wonderful day!
