*Eliza's POV* 6 months later Folding away the clothing required for her short journey away, Sebastian passed cloak after cloak, chuckling to himself "I've never known a woman need so many cloaks for a week trip! Honesty Eliza what do you think you're going to do?Rip one every day?" "It's me Seb, I've torn skirts just by walking past the knight armour, all it takes is a rogue branch"
They had been fortunate after it all to be able to keep their jobs thanks to Sharp submitting a very detailed report and all evidence being unearthed of Abbot's plots, there was a list longer than her arm with ones he hadn't even conducted yet but had various motions set in place. Sebastian had been relieved to avoid Azkaban for the second time in his life, not something he wanted to brag about mind you. "Are you sure I can't help in any way?" Carrying her briefcase down the stairs for her, pressing her finger to her lips she jokingly thought to have him sweat "Make sure I have snacks for when I'm back? Especially them candyfloss balls" "Let me guess, paired with cold butterbeer that has extra cream and a tower of toffee fudge?" Giving him a hug she was grateful for him being so helpful. Sebastian rubbed her stomach gently "You know it. I promise I'll be fine. It's only a short trip and it isn't like I'm at risk" scowling at her, she was at a slight risk but he knew what she meant "Well I'll be joining you this evening okay?' Kissing his cheek she let him guide her down to the boat to take her to the carriages on the other side where Sharp would be waiting.
He seemed to have a smile more and more these days, even he couldn't help himself rubbing her stomach for 'luck' it had become almost tradition for those closest to her "Miss Dorian, how was the boat ride? Any sickness?" Lifting her out of the swaying wooden boat to hop into a elegant looking carriage marked with the crest of Salazar "No I was fine, I have these sweets to suck if I feel unwell" holding up her bag from Professor Garlick. She had been touched when she had been struggling with sickness and found herself researching ways to ease it only to find Professor Garlick had already made up various ways from liquid to sweets to tablets for her to try with instructions to let her know which was successful. Sharp closed the door behind her, relaxing into the silk cushions- her back felt increasingly better at a chance to sit down comfortably.
The metal door opened for her-it looked comfortable inside with its spacious floor plan and windows that looked out to the woods with jabberknolls going tree to tree. Walking though to the bedroom she noticed how large the bed was, plenty of space to sprawl out in at least. "Mr Sallow will be joining you later this evening, there's food already stocked up to last the week but if you need anything don't hesitate to let one of the Aurors know on their visits. It should only be a week starting tomorrow morning and we've got Hecate happy to step in for the time being- between you and me I think she's bored of her retirement so this gives her something to do atleast" Eliza chuckled envisioning her old Professor in a garden planting herbs or feeding animals like a little old lady, she as far from it as could be! Pecking her cheek Sharp left to do perimeter ward, whilst she went to try out that oh so comfy bed for herself
Sebastian true to his word; showed up just as she was preparing ingredients for dinner, shooing her away to take over "Nope I got it, you go relax. One of the Aurors will be doing final check tonight with us then it will be for the next week or so. And the Doctor will be here in 3 days to routine check you too" effortlessly slicing the tomatoes to go with her salad, atleast she could stomach small food dishes now, its better than when poor Deek was trying to spoon feed her soup with meat hidden in it. The rap at the door indicating she had to deal with yet another Auror, opening it her annoyance replaced with a smile "My Rose" tenderly kissing her cheek, pulling him through the door. Ominis had started to appear much better now he could do things he enjoyed instead of confined to his bed for the month, then taking leave for 2 months under Sharps orders to ensure his wounds was fully healed- whilst the Ministry didn't have a head of it for the Auror section it was pretty obvious Sharp was going to take over with how he uncovered one of the biggest plots, even though Sharp had protested that it was all Ominis he had urged him to take the credit as he didn't want a responsibility that large. "How are you feeling, do you feel him kick yet?" His hands on each side of her small bump, pressing his ear to it with a content smile "How are you sure they are a boy?" Laughing, her hand running through his hair. She knew he had been terrified at first at the prospect of being a father but he had warmed to it when she had reassured him he would be excellent at it, how it was another to be showered in his love. Of course he had also been worried the child would be blind but the Doctor had reassured him how low the odds was at this point but it was always a possibility even if they had both been with sight "Boy or girl they are going to be perfect because they are a part of you" Sebastian made fake vomit noises at the sight, of course he was happy to be proud Uncle Seb and stated many times he was going to teach the child all his tricks and pranks which had Ominis threaten to throw him in the lake by Hogwarts if he even attempted such a thing, remarking how he didn't need their child coming back with 0 eyebrows and more detention slips than the school could dish out "Are you the Auror for the night then" waggling here eyebrows at him, his arm pulled her closer with a kiss full of passion "I am, why you wouldn't try to seduce an Auror now would you my dear" "I swear to Merlin if you two don't go into that room so my eyes are spared I will Avada myself!" Sebastian threw the towel at them both, it barely brushed her arm but Ominis shot a scowl at Sebastian.
