Taehyung and Hoseok rushed forward to help Yoongi whereas Jungkook was still holding you tight in his embrace. Carrying you in his arms with tremendous care he took you to his room and laid you in the bed. You caught his arm not wanting him to leave as you were still shaken up by the incident.
"Don't worry I won't leave you alone. I am just going to bring you the water." He said softly and you let your grip on him loosen. Bringing a glass of water from the nightstand he passed it to you and you drank it all at once.
Crouching down before you in front of the bed he held one of your hands and rubbed on it with both of his hands in an effort to soothe you. "You are safe now, don't be afraid anymore." He said caressing your head and you calmed down slowly feeling relieved.
The pack doctor rushed in followed by a nurse and after giving a quick greeting to Jungkook they started checking you.
"Your majesty, Miss Kim and the baby are both fine. You can rest assured now. Someone needs to be beside her tonight and she needs to be fed." The doctor reported bowing and Jungkook thanked him and the nurse before dismissing them.
"How do you feel now?" He asked as he sat beside you on the bed.
"I'm hungry," You answered honestly and your stomach growled in agreement. Letting out a short manly laugh he said "I have already given instruction to the kitchen staff to prepare your meal. It will be here in a few minutes."
"Thank you Jungkook-ssi" He gave a soft "umm" as a response to your thanks and then you both just kept quiet each lost in your own thoughts. It was weird how you felt protected and safe with a person who had nearly killed you once. His presence was too calming and warm.
The maids brought two avocado and cheese sandwiches plus a bowl of tomato soup for you. You ate the sandwiches like you had been hungry for ages not even caring that Jungkook was watching you but your child was still asking for more. You saw Jungkook taking an empty syringe from the rolling table in which the maids had brought the food for you and your eyes widened making out what he was going to do.
"Jungkook-ssi you don't have to." You said immediately when he placed the needle on top of his vein to extract the blood.
"Relax, It's not the first time, Taehyung is busy right now and unlike vampire blood, werewolf blood isn't intoxicating. " You become confused by his words and raise your eyebrows at him in a questioning way.
Extracting a full syringe of blood he mixed it in the bowl of tomato soup. "That time when you fainted in your apartment Taehyung and I rushed with the pack doctors there. Since you needed a lot of blood we both fed you."
"I feel like such a monster." You let out honestly as he passed you the bowl.
"You don't have to, think about all those supernatural that survive on human blood. According to what you said they all are monsters too. One cannot defy their nature, it's fine as long as you don't harm an innocent person. Plus humans kill and eat animals too a life is a life no matter how small or big the living being is."
The way he said it and the meaningful words he told did something the other alphas couldn't even after trying to convince you for a whole month. He got rid of your guilt of drinking blood and look at it in a whole new perspective with just a few lines.
"Okay," You smiled faintly at him and started having the soup. Sensing that you might be uncomfortable going back to your room he offered you to sleep in his and you accepted it. When he was about to leave and you got inside the covers you held his hand halting him.
"Will you please stay here? I am still a little scared." Giving a little pout you looked at him with your puppy eyes.
"Ahem..." He ruffled the back of his hair before nodding. Grabbing a pillow from the bed he went to sleep on the couch.
"Babydoll did you think you can run away from me?" You felt a strong hand grip strangle you and you struggled while gasping for air.
Tears rolled down your eyes as you felt Jackson taint you again and again but you couldn't even cry or shout for help.
He bit hard in your neck drawing blood as his fangs pierced you and you screamed feeling the burning sensation traveling to your entire body from the wound.
"Hana... Hana wake up." You blinked your eyes slowly you became conscious of your surrounding. "Jungkook..." With fresh tears falling from your eyes you stared at the man in front of you whose both hands were holding your cheeks to wake you up.
"It was just a dream?" Taking deep breaths in order to stabilize your fast-paced heartbeat you held his hand.
"Yes you are safe. I promise I will never let anyone hurt you or scare you ever again. I am so sorry this is all my fault." Jungkook's expression was laced with worry while his eyes were locked with yours.
"I'm, I just went for a few minutes to check on hyung." He said apologetically as he moved his eyes away.
"It's not your fault."
He went back on the couch and you closed your eyes trying to go back to sleep since the pendulum clock on the wall showed that it was just four am.
You tossed in the bed trying to sleep but you felt scared and the visions from your dreams and your past kept haunting your mind.
Suddenly you felt someone's presence back of you and hands engulfed you from the back from outside the cover.
"Jungkook? But why?" You thought before a soulful angelic voice filled the room.
