(A few minutes before the attack)

Since you were getting chubbier day by day you decided that you needed maternity clothes rather than these loose dresses you were wearing. The first plan was to wait for Jungkook to be free but since you were craving desperately for cottage cheese Taehyung convinced you to go shopping right now.

You were sad that you had to leave Veronica alone in the palace but she had assured you that she wouldn't be lonely because Yoongi had allowed her to use the internet from today.

"Is this good or this one?" You asked showing two black and blue maternity jeans to your shopping buddy.

"Take both and this one too." Taehyung passed you a sexy one-piece halter-back dress.

"You do realize that I'm the size of an elephant right now?" You arched an eyebrow at him.

"But you will go back to shape in a few months and then this would be the perfect dress to seduce Jungkookie and go out of shape again in another next few months." Taehyung teased giving you a very perverted expression, biting his lip and winking his one eye.

Blushing so much that you were even redder than a tomato you kicked him nearly making him stumble.

"I have decided if Jungkook sleeps with you I'm calling him gay. You are nowhere close to a woman, you eat like a man, snore like a man, kick and punch like a man and even love video games." He said rubbing his leg while throwing daggers at you with his eyes.

"If he was gay then I would have no chance. He would have eyes only for you." Blowing a kiss at him you resumed your previous task of selecting clothes while he made puking gestures at your remark.

Then your phone rang and you picked it up.

"Vernie we'll be back in twenty..." You stopped after listening to the commotion and loud steps on the other side.

"Unnie run somewhere safe, don't come back here. They have attacked the palace and they were searching for you. I got hurt unnie... I think I'm dying... everyone is dying unnie... there is blood everywhere."

You could hear Veronica's loud sobs from the other side. Your hand that was holding the phone shook in fear and your heart felt like a huge weight had been put on it.

"Jackson?" Was the first thing that came to your mind?

"Vernie where are you? Please hang on I will tell Tae to link kookie to get you." You exclaimed loudly in worry motioning Tae to do what you said but he shook his head in panic replying that he couldn't do it.

"The guards tried that, the mind link doesn't work. A few of them are carrying me to the training grounds because that fucking witch hit me with something." She stopped speaking and you felt guilt creep inside you because you were the one who had suggested Yoongi to bring her here, you were the reason she got hurt.

"Hello... hello Vernie are you there?" You took out the gun inside your bag as you walked out of the store with Taehyung. Jungkook had let you keep it for your safety after Taehyung and you got attacked.

You heard a loud crash and the line went dead, urging Taehyung to hurry you sprinted discarding all the things in your hand except your gun on the ground.

Suddenly you felt being lifted off the ground by a grim-faced Taehyung who was now carrying you in his arms.

"It will be faster, hope Vernie isn't badly injured." Taehyung sped off in worry towards the exit of the mall.
