Taehyung took a deep labored breath while giving you the most distressed expression you had ever seen on any person. He was visibly shaking because of the pain caused by your revelation. He closed his eyes for only a brief moment and he pulled you close and held you tight, your head lying close to his chest near to his static heart.

His tears fell like waterworks and you let out all your pent-up anguish and sadness take over you and you wept along with him once more as you told him your entire story starting from how you lost your parents in the car accident, heartbreak caused by your first love to that dreadful night where you had lost all hope and became a prisoner in your own house for a year.

"I tried to run away Tae, I did but he always caught me every time. He threatened that he would kill my friends, my Jimin if I said anything to anyone or tried to run away." You said sobbing while he cradled you and caressed your head and back.

"I... I even tried to go to a place where he would never find me. I tried to die but he didn't let me die too." You hiccupped and his grip on you got harder as he tried to control his rage.

"Hana-ya I will protect you now. I swear I will kill that bastard, I will kill him in the most painful way possible." He said rocking you back and forth in his embrace.

"Tae he is really powerful. He killed all those girls that had bullied me in the most horrendous way right in front of my eyes and no one even tried to dig the matter. There wasn't even a police case." He cupped your face and made you face him and used his finger to wipe your tears away.

"Even if he is the strongest vampire in existence I will still find a way to kill him." He said determined which gave a sense of peace to your heart but at the same time, you were afraid that he would do something rash.

"No, don't do it. I don't want you to make your hands filthy with that monster's blood. I am really fine now"

"Jackson... what's his full name?" He asked making a countenance that said dare try to avoid the question.

"Jackson Wang" The name on your tongue brought a putrid taste to your mouth and mind.

"Wang? Wang as in vampire council's third head Wang's grandchild? If that's the case then his grandmother and mother are both of royal bloodline. Now it all makes sense why the council didn't interfere, generally when other vampires commit crimes the council immediately finds out and punishes them because staying in the shadows is very important to the supernatural." Taehyung said with his hands fisted he hated when those in power abused their authority.

"I don't know" You replied while sulking.

"Shit, what a mess." He bit his lip deep in thought.

"If Jungkookie knows about this then another great war between vampires and werewolves will take place. Vampires and werewolves have been fighting and killing one another for centuries. There have been lots of treaties and betrayals from both sides. Even just a simple nonsensical reason is enough to wedge far for superiority, power, or plain hatred, and a reason this big... I don't think both the races will ever forget the wounds caused by this one ."

"I won't tell Jungkook. I don't want any bloodshed because of me. His parents have died fighting for peace, I can't let that go to waste."

Taehyung knew that what you said was true and as a protector, it was his duty to make the wisest decision for his king even if they were the hardest ones.

"It's the same reason I can't say to him or any hyung that those vampire princes bully me at school. I know they would go to any extent to protect me and this involves his mate. His wolf is very headstrong and possessive, he will go berserk and won't even blink twice before killing anyone who stands in his way if he knows." He lowered his head feeling defeated.
