In a flash, his hands gripped your neck to strangle you and you screamed loudly in fear. All the people inside the restaurant stopped eating and looked at your table in shock but not even a second passed before he is pulled away from you by two guys. Taehyung carefully pushed you behind him and stood protectively in front of you.
You seriously thought you must have sinned in your previous life after you escaped death for the second time today. The burning pain in your neck demanded your attention but you knew better not to touch it or try to speak from your countless experience of getting strangled by Jackson.
Gripping the fabric of Taehyung's shirt you moved closer to him getting scared by the wild growls coming out from the man who had just pounced on you. The other two of his friends are having a really difficult time controlling him.
"Are you all disobeying me? I will shred you all into pieces." You heard a warning from your attacker that sent chills down your spine. He threw one of the guys trying to subdue him and a table broke from the impact of the hit. Looking around you wished anyone to come and help but everyone has a petrified expression on their face as they stare at the scene.
"Jungkook please calm down, you are going to regret this so much later," Taehyung spoke and your eyes widened in astonishment that he knew this lunatic who was mad at you for no reason.
You listened to the fighting and closed your eyes thinking of a plan to escape from this psycho. The door opened with a bang and you took a peek to see two guys rush to hold Jungkook.
"Thank goodness Yoongi hyung and Jin hyung are here." You heard Taehyung give a sigh of relief and feel him relaxing his stance.
"We will take care of him. Taehyungie and Hoseok you both get the girl out." The shorter guy commanded with his deep voice and Taehyung wrapped his hand around your shoulder, the guy whose name you assume is Hoseok came beside you and they both escorted you outside.
"Let's take her to the pack doctor she must have been traumatized," Hoseok said to Taehyung and called a cab.
"Why did he attack me? I have never seen that guy before." You asked in a hoarse voice as soon as the cab took off.
"Jungkookie is not a bad person." Both of them spoke at the same time.
"Then why?" You tried to talk as less as you can because you were having difficulty speaking due to the assault.
"He has his reasons, this is the first time he has let his anger cloud his senses but it's not my place to speak about it. I'm really sorry." Taehyung held your hand and looked at you apologetically with compelling eyes.
Not wanting to think about it anymore you just nodded at him. All you want to do right now is go back to your hotel room and take a deep slumber so rested your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes.
"I just hope my child is fine. As long as the baby is doing good nothing else matters. I swear if it isn't I will put all the silver bullets in that bastard's head supernatural or not."
"Hoseok hyung are you fine?" Taehyung asked making you remember that he had got himself hurt trying to save you earlier.
"I am fine Taehyungie. Although he was angry he is still our little Jungkookie he wouldn't do anything to harm us seriously. That's why he hit me not Sehun because he knows it would've done a lot more damage to him." Hoseok responded making you know that the other guy who was helping him control Jungkook was also from their friend circle.
"But I must say we have raised a Dragon even his own beta and I couldn't handle that beast." Even though you had a lot of questions you kept quiet not wanting to interfere in the conversation as it sounded a little private.
The cab stopped in front of a hospital and they took you inside for a check-up. After the doctor examined you the doctor informed you that the baby is fine and all three of you let out a huge sigh of relief and smiled mirroring each other.
"The marks around your neck take some days to heal and your throat will hurt slightly. I will prescribe some medicine and cream for it." The doctor wrote down his prescription and Taehyung took it.
"I don't want to scare you but you do know that strangulation can lead to miscarriage. Hope you are not in an abusive relationship." He said and you told him that you are raising the child alone.
"The child is a dhampir and you are just a human so there will be many complications. Are you sure you want to keep the child Miss Kim? It will risk your life."
"Dhampir?" You asked confused.
"Half-human, half-vampire. It doesn't make sense that you don't know." Hoseok spoke confusion etched on his face.
"Awww I know that the child could be like its father but I haven't heard that word before." You cringed internally at the fact that you just referred to Jackson as the father of your child. Though it was the truth and you didn't want the only friend you have right now and two people you just met to know any part of your history.
"I don't care about my health and I am willing to do anything and spend any amount as long as the child is healthy." There would be no meaning to your life if you fail to save your only hope and reason for living.
"Besides basic caring procedures for a vampire child what special measures does a dhampir need and how should I take care of her?" Taehyung questioned the doctor.
"My lord it's almost the same she needs to feed on human blood on a timely basis and..."
"What? Human blood?" You shouted scaring the hell out of Hoseok who squeals a little at your outburst.
"No problem I can share my stack with her," Taehyung replied giving you a weird chuckle as if he was a child talking about sharing his toys with you.
"Fresh blood is the best." The doctor continued and you and Hoseok both make puking action and gagging noises.
"I can manage that too." Taehyung's statement nearly made you faint and you laid back in the hospital bed completely whereas Hoseok walked out of the room, closing his ears and saying "I didn't hear that" repeatedly.
The doctor wrote a list of do's and don'ts during the pregnancy period and added supplements to the prescription list.
"It would have helped her if she had her mate but I guess the father is not the mate." The doctor's words made Taehyung sad and he started pouting and murmuring incomprehensible words.
"I guess that is something I can't manage but don't worry, I will do everything in my power to keep you both healthy." He promised with determination.
"I think I spoke too soon about doing anything for little Hana. Dear Jesus, enlighten me about how will I change from a vegetarian to a human blood drinker all of a sudden. "
